About Huntington Park Estates in Strongsville
Huntington Park Estates is a swim and tennis community of 299 homes and 221 cluster homes surrounded by 18.6 acres of dedicated green space (common ground).
This neighborhood offers premium amenities including an outdoor pool, kiddie pool, picnic pavilion, play structure, volleyball pit, tennis & basketball courts, gazebo, and a fountained fishing pond.
The pools, picnic pavilion, play structure, and volleyball pit are located at 15400 Bryn Mawr Blvd. The basketball and tennis courts are at 9875 Huntington Park Dr. The pond is just west of the Huntington Park Dr turnabout and the gazebo is next to house number 16474 N Laguardia Pkwy.
Common space is designated in yellow on map below. Other than the parcel directly east of the basketball and tennis courts, all are owned by the master HOA or cluster home sub-associations.
A stream flows east-west through the subdivision, offering scenic ravined topography.
Single-family homes are located within the red borders on the above map.
Main Section Single-Family Homes:
Most homes (large red boundary on map above) were built from 1978-1992. They include colonial, cape cod and ranch designs ranging from 1,900-4,800 square feet, with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-4 bathrooms.
There are various floorplans but in general, these homes include hardwood/LVP flooring, first-floor laundry room with utility tub, formal living rooms that flow into formal dining rooms, and fireplaced great rooms (some are vaulted) that open to kitchens with pantries and dinette area. Owner’s suites (most are second floor in 2-story homes) feature walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms. Full finished lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!) are complete with media rooms, bars and workout rooms. Front-entry garages accommodate 2-3 cars.
Backyards are enhanced with covered porches, composite decks and/or patios.
Most homesites range from .21 to .29 acres, but there are some larger lots up to .49 acres. Many have treed or wooded backyards for privacy and a number abut common ground.
In addition to the homes on Huntington Park Dr, the main section of single-family homes also occupy the streets of Balmoral Ct, Dogwood Ct, Chevy Chase Dr, Downers Grove Ct, Greenwich Dr, Highland Park, Inglewood Ct, Lake Forest Dr, Mataire Ln, N Bexley Dr (house numbers 9580 and up), S Bexley Cir (aka S Bexley Dr), N Laguardia Pkwy (house numbers 15800-16289), Stamford Ct, and Versailles Dr.
Ruggiero Dr Single-Family Homes:
The 11 homes along the south end of the development that occupy Ruggiero Dr (in the small red border) were built by Ruggiero Custom Homes and Drees Homes from 2009-2013. They include colonial, cape cod and ranch designs ranging from 2,000-4,500 square feet, with 3-5 bedrooms and 2-4 bathrooms.
Ruggiero Dr homes include hardwood/LVP flooring, first-floor laundry room with utility tub, garage-entry mud halls, dramatic two-story foyers with open staircases, formal dining rooms, formal living rooms and/or private dens, and fireplaced great rooms (some are vaulted or two-story) that open to kitchens with granite or quartz countertops, tile backsplash, pantries and dinette area. Owner’s suites feature walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms with soaking/jetted tubs and walk-in showers. Full finished lower levels are complete with media rooms, bars and workout rooms. Front-entry garages accommodate 2-3 cars.
Backyards are enhanced with composite decks and/or patios.
Ruggiero Dr homesites range from .26 to .41 acres, most achieving privacy with planted pines.
There are three entrances: Huntington Park Dr from Whitney Rd, and Bryn Mawr Blvd from either Albion Rd or Webster Rd. The main entrance off Webster Rd has an elongated divided median with landscaping and etched stone signage.
The streets of single-family homes have lantern-style streetlights, street trees, curbs, and sidewalks on both sides of the street.
This community is connected to Schneider Reserve via N Bexley Dr, which has its own entrance off Whitney Rd.
For those with sensitivities or concerns about visual encumbrance, H-frame steel pole transmission lines run along the west and south ends of the community.
As indicated by the orange and black circular symbols, there is a natural gas and oil well north of Lake Forest Dr (view details here) and also south of Stamford Ct (details here). Due to health and safety concerns, proximity to gas and oil wells can negatively impact home values. On the flip side, surrounding residents can often yield reduced property tax values through the board of revisions.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees for single-family homes are approximately $340 annually.

Convenient Location
Huntington Park Estates is located in northeast Strongsville, off Whitney, Webster, and Albion roads.
Highways are accessible in 6 min to I-71 and 8 min to I-80/Turnpike. While the proximity to I-71 is convenient, it runs directly west of the development, subjecting it to interstate noise.
SouthPark Mall and Strongsville’s bustling retail sector is only 10 min away.
The Ehrnfelt Recreation and Senior Center is a 10 min drive, offering residents a pool, sauna, steam room and whirlpool, massage therapy, ball courts, indoor elevated track, weight and exercise room, and game area with pool tables, ping pong, video games, air hockey and more.
As for parks, Strongsville has nine city parks with ball courts/fields, playgrounds, picnic areas, pavilions, and trails.
Exercise enthusiasts will appreciate being a 9 min bike (1.5 miles) from the Metroparks’ Valley Parkway Connector Trail. Heading east, the trail connects to Brecksville Reservation and the 81-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail. To the west, it leads through Mill Stream Run Reservation all the way to Rocky River Reservation.
Mill Stream Run Reservation is a 4 min drive, part of Cleveland Metroparks, where visitors can engage in hiking, horseback riding, archery, ziplining, axe throwing, and tobogganing at The Chalet on the tallest, fastest toboggan ice chutes in Ohio.
If you’re a golfer, it’s just 12-15 min to Pine Hills, Royal Crest, Valleaire, and Briarwood.
