Schneider Reserve in Strongsville

Schneider Reserve (also called The Woods at Schneider Reserve) in Strongsville Ohio is a lovely development of single-family and limited-maintenance detached cluster homes built exclusively by Pulte Homes from 2007-2013.

Schneider Reserve is divided into two sections: the cluster community to the north, and single-family homes to the south.

There are 16.44 acres of HOA-owned common space (yellow areas within blue border on map below) surrounding the community; 6.92 acres of which separate the cluster homes and luxury homes with trees, greenspace, ponds, and a stream (dashed blue line on map below).

Limited-Maintenance Cluster Homes:

The front portion of the community consists of 48 freestanding limited-maintenance cluster homes of colonial, cape cod and ranch designs. These homes offer 2,000-4,600 square feet, full basements, 2-4 bedrooms, and 2.5-4 bathrooms.

Desirable interior amenities include two-story foyers, hardwood flooring, flex rooms (den or formal living room), formal dining room/area, and vaulted-great rooms with fireplaces that open to granite eat-in kitchens with breakfast bar seating, walk-in pantries, and even sunrooms. Owner’s suites feature sitting areas, walk-in closets, and en-suite bathrooms with dual sinks, soaking/jetted tubs, and walk-in showers. Second floors may have lofts. Full finished lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!) are complete with 9′ ceilings, media rooms, bars and workout rooms. Outdoor living is enhanced with composite decks and/or patios. Each home has a 2-car front-entry garage.

Premium lots are available as wooded or pond-view and around any of four cul-de-sacs. Each cul-de-sac has landscaped islands and thoughtfully planned parking pads for overflow space for guests’ cars during parties.

Custom burgundy street signs and stacked stone pillars with landscaping add a touch of elegance to intersections.

Cluster homes occupy the streets of Eldorado Trl, Rainier Ct, and Tahoe Cir. There are curbs and sidewalks on both sides of the street.

Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees for the cluster community are approximately $1,325 annually, which include snow removal, lawn mowing, and front landscaping.

Single-Family Homes:

The southern section of the community has 72 single-family homes of colonial, cape cod and ranch designs ranging from 2,700 to 5,700 square feet, with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-4.5 bathrooms.

These homes offer desirable amenities including two-story foyers, hardwood flooring, flex rooms (den or formal living room), formal dining room/area, and vaulted-great rooms with fireplaces that open to granite eat-in kitchens with breakfast bar seating, walk-in pantries, and even sunrooms. Owner’s suites feature sitting areas, walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms with dual sinks, soaking/jetted tubs, and walk-in showers. First or second-floor laundry. Second-floor lofts. Full finished lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!) are complete with 9′ ceilings, media rooms, bars and workout rooms. Each home has a 2 to 3-car front-entry garage.

Homesites range from .26 to .48 acres, with premium sites available as wooded-view or cul-de-sac lots. Backyards are enhanced with composite decks and/or patios.

Single-family homes encompass the streets of Durian Cir, Ellis Way, Kenilworth Dr, Sagamore Cir, and N Bexley Dr up to house number 9565.

There are curbs and sidewalks on both sides of the street as well as tree lawn saplings throughout this portion of the development.

As N Bexley Dr turns south near Lake Forest Dr, it becomes the community of Huntington Park Estates, which borders Schneider Reserve to the south and west. An 8.41-acre wooded common area parcel (south of N Bexley Dr) owned by Schneider Reserve serves as a buffer between the two communities.

Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees for single-family homes are approximately $380 annually.

Schneider Reserve entrance on Kenilworth Dr.

There is one direct entrance to Schneider Reserve via Kenilworth Dr, off Whitney Rd. The entrance has a divided median with a landscaped island, which is flanked on both sides by landscaped beds with stacked stone and masonry signage on the left. White three-rail ranch-style fencing borders the front of the community and continues into the community up until the intersecting street.

The development is also accessible through the entrances of Huntington Park Estates from Whitney Rd, Webster Rd, and Albion Rd.

The residential subdivision of Schneider Reserve (also called The Woods at Schneider Reserve) is located in northeast Strongsville, off Whitney Road west of Webster Road.

Heading east, the trail connects to Brecksville Reservation and the 81-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail. To the west, it leads through Mill Stream Run Reservation all the way to Rocky River Reservation. 

There’s also Mill Stream Run Reservation 5 min away, part of Cleveland Metroparks, where visitors can engage in hiking, horseback riding, archery, ziplining, axe throwing, and tobogganing at The Chalet on the tallest, fastest toboggan ice chutes in Ohio.

If you’re a golfer, it’s just 14 min to Pine Hills 15 min to Royal Crest, 16 min to Valleaire, and 17 min to Briarwood.

It is within the Strongsville City School District.
