Nicely sized guest bedrooms also offer walk-in closets. Second floors offer lofts/bonus rooms. Finished lower levels (many are coveted walk-outs!) are complete with 9’ ceilings, bars, kitchens/kitchenettes, media/theater rooms, and exercise rooms. Oversized side-entry garages accommodate 2-3 cars.
Homesites are generously sized, ranging from .32 to .55 acres. Most backyards are private and wooded with custom patios, verandas and/or decks overlooking serene views.
The community is set on more than 60 acres of land and surrounded by 18+ acres of wooded conservation easement/common area, extending privacy and lush nature views. Other than the triangular parcel bordering the northwest end of Castlereagh Ln, which is the common area of Forest Park, yellow areas on the map above are HOA-owned common area/easements.
The southern portion of the development abuts the thick forest of the Metroparks’ Mill Stream Run Reservation for a true woodland paradise.
Several streams within the East Branch Rocky River watershed (dashed blue lines on map above) meander around the community, creating ravined topography and opportunities for wildlife viewing. See FEMA Flood Map.
The entrance street of Calderdale Ln is off the west side of Webster Rd between Albion and Royalton roads. It is elegantly decorated with large landscaped beds surrounding stacked stone walls and columns with wrought iron fencing.
In addition to Calderdale Ln, the subdivision also encompasses the streets of Bentley Ln and Castlereagh Ln. Each street has curbs and sidewalks on both sides and ends with a landscaped cul-de-sac surrounded by garden stones.
With only one entrance and no connection to another community, traffic is limited to residents and their guests.
Residences are served by Strongsville City Schools.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Avery Walden are approximately $375 annually.
The development is located south of its sister community of cluster homes, The Ledges of Avery Walden.
