About Ashley Oaks in Strongsville
Ashley Oaks is an upscale community of single-family and cluster homes with greenspace, a small playground, a gazebo, and walkable to the city’s outdoor ball fields located in Strongsville Ohio, off Prospect and Lunn roads.

The 111 single-family homes of Ashley Oaks were between 2000-2003 by Parkview Custom Homes and Ream Builders. Many homes have since been updated.
Ashley Oaks homes are two-story styles ranging from 3,100-5,200 square feet with 3-4 bedrooms and 3-4.5 bathrooms.
Facades are traditionally styled with partial brick.
Inside, homes are appointed with hardwood or LVP flooring, first-floor laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, dramatic two-story foyers with open turned staircases, private dens with french doors, formal living rooms, formal dining rooms with trim work, and fireplaced great rooms with two-story or vaulted ceilings that open to kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, breakfast bar seating, pantry, dinette area, and even sunrooms. First or second-floor owner’s suites have vaulted ceilings, sitting areas (some homes), walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms with dual sinks, soaking/jetted tubs and/or walk-in showers. Finished lower levels (a few are coveted walkouts!) have bars, media rooms, billiard areas, and exercise rooms. Attached front-entry garages accommodate 2-3 cars.
Backyards are complete with custom patios and/or decks, and fire pits.
Fences are permitted, but sheds and above-ground pools are not.
Homesites range from 0.26 to 0.75 acres, some of which have treed backyards.
Numerous homes abut HOA-owned common space (yellow areas on above map) totaling 8.84-acres, extending meadow or wooded views.
In the center of the community is a small playground and gazebo.
A small creek meanders around the south and southwest ends of the community (dashed blue line on map above), which FEMA does not designate as having increased flood risk. View FEMA Flood Map.
Along the western sections of common space are two detention basins that collect rainwater and meter it into the public sewer system to prevent flooding during heavy storms.
For those with sensitivities or concerns about visual encumbrance (clearly visible from homes on Scarlet Oak Trl), steel pole sub-transmission lines run beside the train tracks along the western end of the community.
A treeline serves as a natural buffer from the train tracks.
Ashley Oaks has two entrance streets: Oakhurst Ln off Lunn Rd and Old Oak Dr off Prospect Rd. Each is flanked by lush landscaping, mature trees, and masonry signage.
In addition to homes on Oakhurst Ln and Old Oak Dr, the development also encompasses the streets of Oakwood Pl and Scarlet Oak Trl. Each has street trees, curbs, and sidewalks along both sides. Scarlet Oak Trl and Oakhurst Ln have cul-de-sacs.
Post is delivered to cluster mailbox units located throughout the community.
Residences are served by Strongsville City School District.
There is a deed-restricted Homeowner’s Association (HOA) and fees at Ashley Oaks, which are approximately $225 annually.

Location Details
Ashley Oaks is located in the southwest quadrant of Strongsville off Prospect and Lunn roads.
Highways are accessible in 10 min to I-80/Turnpike and 11 min to I-71.
Strongsville’s bustling retail sector is just a 4-min drive and SouthPark Mall is 9 min away.
The Ehrnfelt Recreation and Senior Center is 8 min away, offering residents a pool, sauna, steam room and whirlpool, massage therapy, ball courts, indoor elevated track, weight and exercise room, and game area with pool tables, ping pong, video games, air hockey and more.
As for parks, Strongsville has nine city parks with ball courts/fields, playgrounds, picnic areas, pavilions, and trails. Most of the ball fields are located within walking distance, just south of the community.
There’s also Mill Stream Run Reservation 9 min away, part of Cleveland Metroparks, where visitors can engage in hiking, horseback riding, archery, ziplining, axe throwing, and tobogganing at The Chalet on the tallest, fastest toboggan ice chutes in Ohio.
Golfers are 5-9 min to Royal Crest, Hickory Nut, and Columbia Hills.
