About Sterling Point in Strongsville
Sterling Point in Strongsville Ohio is an upscale community of single-family and cluster homes with a neighborhood park, walkable to the High School, and only minutes to the retail district. It is located at the northeast corner of Prospect Rd and Lunn Rd.

The 72 single-family homes of Sterling Point were custom built between 1987-1997 by Don-Pre Development Corp/Stonecrest Homes (headed by Donald P. Prebis). Many have since been updated.
Sterling Point homes are two-story styles ranging from 3,400-6,100 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 3-4 bathrooms.
Facades are traditionally styled as full/partial brick and Tudor.
Inside, homes are appointed with hardwood or LVP flooring, solid wood interior doors, elegant millwork, first-floor laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, dramatic two-story foyers with open curved staircases, private dens with built-ins and/or wood wall paneling, formal living rooms, formal dining rooms with tray ceilings and trim work, and fireplaced great rooms (some with wet bars and vaulted or wood-beamed ceilings) that open to kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops (some have breakfast bar seating), pantry, dinette area, and even sunrooms. First or second-floor owner’s suites have vaulted or tray ceilings, walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms with dual sinks, soaking/jetted tubs and/or walk-in showers. Finished lower levels (some are coveted walkouts!) have bars, media rooms, billiard areas, and exercise rooms. Attached front or side-entry garages accommodate 2.5-4 cars.
Backyard oases are complete with custom patios and/or decks, gazebos and fire pits.
Homesites measure approximately 90′ to 100′ wide and range from 0.26 to 0.49 acres, some of which have treed backyards.
Numerous homes abut HOA-owned common space (yellow areas on above map) totaling 8.84 acres, much of it wooded.
In the center of the community is the park area, which has a tennis court, playground, and paved walking trails (dashed green lines on above map). Landscaped entrances to the walking trails are off Sterling Way, Stratford Cir, and Windsor Castle Ln.
Baker Creek meanders through the backyard of homes along the north side of the community (solid blue line on map above), enhancing the natural setting and offering ravined topography. A smaller stream also flows around the Windsor Castle Ln cul-de-sac and into the park area. View FEMA Flood Map.
Sterling Point‘s entrance streets include Castle Dr off Prospect Rd and Regency Dr off Lunn Rd. The main entrance on Regency Dr is flanked by landscaped beds with stately brick signage walls topped by a patinaed lamp post with triple-headed acorn-style lanterns.
In addition to homes on Regency Dr, the development also encompasses the streets of Britannia Ct, Sterling Way, Stratford Cir, Windsor Castle Ln, and the west end of Sterling Way (house numbers 20638-20903). Each street has a cul-de-sac, street trees, curbs, and sidewalks along both sides.
Sterling Point adjoins the community of Orchard Hill to the east, which has an entrance off Lunn Rd.
Residences are served by Strongsville City School District. The Early Learning Preschool is conveniently 0.6 miles east on Lunn Rd.
NOTE: The entire neighborhood comprises non-bussing streets to Strongsville High School, which is a ≤15 min walk or ≤6 min bike through the development.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Sterling Point are approximately $300 annually.
To the northeast is the subdivision of Abigail Estates.

Sterling Point is located in the southwest quadrant of Strongsville, at the northeast corner of Prospect and Lunn roads.
Highways are accessible in 10 min to I-80/Turnpike and 11 min to I-71.
Strongsville’s bustling retail sector is just a 3-min drive and SouthPark Mall is 9 min away.
The Ehrnfelt Recreation and Senior Center is 8 min away, offering residents a pool, sauna, steam room and whirlpool, massage therapy, ball courts, indoor elevated track, weight and exercise room, and game area with pool tables, ping pong, video games, air hockey and more.
As for parks, Strongsville has nine city parks with ball courts/fields, playgrounds, picnic areas, pavilions, and trails.
There’s also Mill Stream Run Reservation 9 min away, part of Cleveland Metroparks, where visitors can engage in hiking, horseback riding, archery, ziplining, axe throwing, and tobogganing at The Chalet on the tallest, fastest toboggan ice chutes in Ohio.
Golfers are 6-9 min to Royal Crest, Hickory Nut, and Columbia Hills.
