High Point in Strongsville Ohio is a master-planned recreation community of 643 single-family and detached cluster homes.
With wooded lots, greenspace exceptional family-friendly amenities, and close proximity to the Metroparks, retail and highway, this development truly offers it all!
The single-family homes of High Point were built by Parkview Homes from 1977-2005. Many homes have since been updated.
High Point single-family homes include two-story layouts with 2,400-5,000+ square feet of living space with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-4 bathrooms.
Being that homes were built over 20 years, designs and features will vary. Standard features include fireplaced family rooms, formal dining rooms and living rooms, private dens, kitchens with dinettes, owner’s suites with en-suite bathrooms with dual sinks, and full finished lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!).
Single-family homesites range from .24 to .36 acres with wooded backdrops and custom patios and/or decks.
This community has more than 30 acres of dedicated common space (yellow areas on map below) with ponds, wooded areas, and open greenspace, to which many homes abut.
First-class amenities in High Point include a rentable clubhouse, outdoor pool with diving area, 3 waterslides and water features, a playground with swings and toddler area, twin lighted tennis courts, a basketball court, greenspace, and paved walking paths (dashed red lines on above map) that meander around a fountained pond and treed areas.
The clubhouse and pool are located at 17847 Brandywine Dr. The sports recreation area is located on a 3-acre parcel at the intersection of Brandywine Dr and Saratoga Trl. A large pond with a walking trail is nestled upon 6+ aces, just north of Winchester Ct.
Southwest General Health Center (off Pearl Rd) welcomes families to use their “Hospital Hill“ for winter sledding and summer activities like kite flying.
As for social events, High Point hosts family-friendly movie nights at the pool, an Easter egg scramble, 4th of July parade, and an annual Christmas party.
High Point has two direct entrances from Drake Rd via High Point Club Blvd and Saratoga Trl.
Both entrances are decorated on either side with stately masonry signs bordered by staggered brick pillars topped with spherical capping stones. In the center of the street is a long divided median with a landscaped island.
In addition to homes on Saratoga Trl (north of Hampton Pl), single-family homes also encompass the streets of Admiralty Dr, Brandywine Dr, Brick Mill Run, Chatham Ct, Fairfax Ln, Framingham Oval, Hampton Pl, Heritage Trl, Lexington Ln, N Salem Row, S Salem Row, Nantucket Row, Olde Surrey Ct, Plymouth Row, Rustic Hollow, Wellington Ct, Westfield Ln, Weymouth Ln, Williamsburg Oval, Winchester Ct, Yorktown Oval, and homes on Falmouth Dr west of Nantucket Row, and homes on Timberline Dr west of Winchester Ct.
All single-family streets have street trees, curbs, and sidewalks on both sides of the street.The development is also accessible through the adjoining communities of Pearl East (from Pearl Rd, through Deerfield Woods (to the south) from Boston Rd, through Deerfield Lake (to the east) from either Boston or Drake roads, or through Falmouth East from Howe Rd.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at High Point are approximately $490 annually.
All residences are served by Strongsville City School District.

High Point is located in southeast Strongsville, off Drake Rd, between Howe and Pearl roads.
Highways are accessible in 10 min to I-71 and 12 min to I-80/Turnpike.
SouthPark Mall and Strongsville’s bustling retail sector is less than 10-min away.
The Ehrnfelt Recreation and Senior Center is less than 5 miles away, offering residents a pool, sauna, steam room and whirlpool, massage therapy, ball courts, indoor elevated track, weight and exercise room, and game area with pool tables, ping pong, video games, air hockey and more.
As for parks, Strongsville has nine city parks with ball courts/fields, playgrounds, picnic areas, pavilions, and trails.
There’s also Mill Stream Run Reservation 10 min away, part of Cleveland Metroparks, where visitors can engage in hiking, horseback riding, archery, ziplining, axe throwing, and tobogganing at The Chalet on the tallest, fastest toboggan ice chutes in Ohio.
