About The Villas of Brittany in Strongsville

The Villas of Brittany in Strongsville Ohio is a charming single-street community of 14 limited-maintenance detached cluster homes. As a sub-association of Deerfield Lake, residents have access to its family-friendly amenities.

The Villas of Brittany cluster homes were built by Hickory Hills Homes in 1994. Most have since been updated.

These single-standing homes are available a ranch and cape cod styles that range from 1,200-2,200 square feet with 2-4 bedrooms and 2-3 bathrooms.

Brick-accented facades are adorned with exquisite landscaping and covered front entryways (some with extended porches). Inside, features include first-floor laundry rooms, private dens (or bedroom), open-concept formal dining area & great room with vaulted ceilings, kitchens with pantry and dinette area, and second-floor lofts. First-floor owner’s suites have en-suite bathrooms with soaking/jetted tubs and a walk-in shower. Front-entry garages accommodate 2 cars and include an attic. Backyards are appointed with patios and even screened-in porches.

Homesites range from .11 to .36 acres with treed backyards.

The Villas of Brittany occupy the street of Brittany Pl.

The entrance is off the north side of Boston Rd, between Pearl and Howe roads. It is flanked by lush landscape beds with curved red brick signage walls between pillars topped by spherical capping stones.

As a single-street community with no connection to another development, traffic is limited to residents and their guests.

Brittany Pl has curbs and sidewalks on both sides of the street.

In the center of the development is a landscaped island with a gazebo, parking pads, walkways, and the cluster mailbox unit.

Homes near the front of the community are shielded from the main road by an earth berm with mature evergreen trees (yellow parcels within the green border on above map).

Surrounding the subdivsion to the west are the homes of Nob Hill, and to the north and east are the homes of Deerfield Lake.

To the north is the main community of Deerfield Lake. The main recreation area (a 4 min drive, 7 min bike, or 25 min walk from Villas of Brittany) is located at 17144 Golden Star Dr and includes a 75′ x 45′ rectangular pool and a 15′ x 20′ wading pool, two tennis courts, a playground, multi-purpose field, large catch-and-release pond, and an octagonal clubhouse that residents can reserve for events. The clubhouse’s striking interior (pictured below) has wood paneling, skylights, and a stairway built on a sloping tree trunk.

The southern recreation area (an 8 min walk from Villas of Brittany) is an 11.88-acre parcel with an open meadow, play structure, swings, a tennis court, and a wooded walking path encircling a catch-and-release pond. This area is accessible through the field between 19417 & 19449 Misty Lake Dr.

Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at The Villas of Brittany are approximately $160/month, which include landscaping and snow removal, plus $350/annually for the recreation amenities of Deerfield Lake.
