About Rosewood Estates in Strongsville
Rosewood Estates (aka Frances Wolny Estate) is a community of 21 homes in southeast Strongsville, Ohio, located off the west side of W 130th St between Drake Rd and Hunt Rd, comprising Cheryl Dr, six homes on S Inlet Dr (house numbers 18797 and higher), and three homes on W 130th St (house numbers 18836, 18908 & 18944).
These single-family homes were constructed between 2001-2006 by builders including Edgewood Homes, Gemini Homes, and Panorama Homes.
Facades feature classic colonial architecture constructed of full vinyl, full brick, or brick accents.
Homes include ranch and two-story styles ranging from 2,700-5,700 square feet with 4-5 bedrooms and 2.5-3.5 bathrooms.
Inside, you’ll find hardwood or LVP flooring, two-story foyers with turned staircases, first-floor laundry rooms with cabinets and utility tubs, formal dining rooms, formal living rooms and/or private dens, and fireplaced great rooms (many have two-story or vaulted ceilings) that open to kitchens with quartz or granite countertops, a breakfast bar, tile backsplash, large walk-in pantry, and dinette area with slider to backyard. First or second-level owner’s suites have vaulted ceilings, walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms with dual sinks, soaking/jetted tubs, walk-in showers, and enclosed commodes. Full finished lower levels may include media rooms, bars, billiard areas, and workout rooms.
Front or side-entry garages accommodate 2-4 cars (fourth car space is tandem).
Backyards are exquisitely appointed with composite decks and/or stamped patios.
Backyard sheds, playsets, and above-ground and in-ground pools are permitted.
During development, homesites were cleared of old-growth trees. Many residents have since planted trees for additional privacy.
Homesites measure ≥75′ wide and mainly range from 0.29 to 0.49 acres.
A few homes abut common area (yellow parcels on above map) owned by the connecting community of Spyglass Hill, which borders Rosewood Estates to the north.
Bordering the subdivision to the west are the homes of Hidden Meadows and Hunters Point.
The entrance to Cheryl Dr is flanked on the right side by community signage.
The south end of S Inlet Dr is currently a dead end, which could be extended with future development opportunities.
There are no Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Rosewood Estates.
Residences are served by the Strongsville City School District.
NOTE: Students living in this community are not bussed to the elementary school. Howard Chapman Elementary School is a 10 min walk through the adjoining neighborhoods.

Rosewood Estates (also called Frances Wolny Estate) is located along the border of North Royalton in southeast Strongsville, Ohio, off the west side of W 130th St, between Drake and Hunt Roads.
Highways are accessible in 8 min to I-71 and 14 min to I-80/Turnpike.
Strongsville’s bustling retail sector and SouthPark Mall are a 9 min drive.
