About Marblehead Estates in Hudson
Marblehead Estates is a community of 28 luxury homes in north-central Hudson, Ohio with proximity to Middleton Park and The Country Club of Hudson.
This subdivision is located off the north side of Middleton Rd, 0.3 miles west of Darrow Rd. It comprises the cul-de-sac street of N Marblehead Rd, seven homes on the north side of Middleton Rd (odd house numbers 1865-1949), and one home at 7518 Darrow Rd.


Homes were primarily built between 1993-2002, with the final two homes completed in 2017 and 2018. Builders include Prestige Homes, Wagler Homes and Jim Young Homes.
Architectural styles include Cape Cod, Colonial Revival, Dutch Colonial Revival, Greek Revival, and Transitional Neo-Colonial. Most facades are constucted with full vinyl, but a few homes have brick/stone accents or full brick elevations.
These 1.5 and 2-story homes range from 2,500-5,400 square feet with 4-5 bedrooms and 3.5-4.5 bathrooms.
Homes are appointed with desirable amenities including first-floor laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, two-story foyers with open staircases, hardwood flooring, multiple fireplaces, formal dining rooms, formal living rooms, private dens, sunrooms and/or screened porches, and fireplaced great rooms with large windows and vaulted or two-story ceilings that open to kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, a center island, breakfast bar, tile backsplash, walk-in pantry, and dinette area. Vaulted owner’s suites include sitting areas, walk-in closets, and en-suite bathrooms with tiled walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Full finished lower levels (some are coveted walkouts!) are complete with theater or media rooms, kitchenettes, bars, exercise rooms, and storage areas. Attached side-entry garages accommodate 3-4 cars.
Residences are serviced with public sewer and public water.
Backyards feature custom stamped patios and/or composite decks, covered living areas, and fireplaces or fire pits.
Generously sized lots measure approximately 150′ wide and range from 0.65 to 2 acres.
Most lots are fully cleared or have sparse tree cover, offering wide-open vistas. Some lots are partially treed for privacy.

As with many Hudson neighborhoods, this community does not have sidewalks or curbs.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Marblehead Estates are approximately $150 annually.
This development adjoins Chadds Ford to the north via Berks Way.

Marblehead Estates subdivision is located in north-central Hudson, Ohio (Summit County) at the northwest corner of Middleton and Darrow Roads.
Highways are accessible in 6 min to I-480, and 9 min to I-271, and 11 min I-80/Turnpike.
This neighborhood is served by the nationally acclaimed Hudson City School District.
A number of private schools also serve the community, including Western Reserve Academy (grades 9-12), Seton Catholic School (K-8), and Hudson Montessori School (preschool-8th grade; located on the opposite side of Darrow Rd!) — each located in Hudson; Old Trail School (preschool-8th grade) in Fairlawn; and Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (grades 7-12) in Cuyahoga Falls.
It’s a 7 min drive to First & Main in downtown Hudson, an upscale retail district with national chain stores along with locally-owned shops and restaurants. First & Main is also home to more than a dozen annual events in the park-like square.
Middleton Park is just 0.2 miles west of this development, offering a playground, baseball field, basketball court, pavilion.
The 33,000-acre Cuyahoga Valley National Park is only 9 min away, which includes the Cuyahoga River and numerous waterfalls, the 87-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.

Golfers are only 12 in from the city-owned golf club, Ellsworth Meadows. If you’re looking for social membership and golf, you’re 4 min to Hudson Country Club (just 0.3 miles east) and 9 min to Lake Forest Country Club.
Boston Mills and Brandywine Ski Resorts are a 15 min drive for skiing and tubing during the winter months.
A concert at Blossom Music Center is 23 min away.
