Bradford Oaks is a friendly, family-oriented community of 100 luxury homes with a community park in Twinsburg Township of Hudson, Ohio.

This subdivision is located off the south side of Twinsburg Rd, nearly equidistant (roughly a mile) between Valley View Rd and Darrow Rd (OH-91). It comprises the streets of Janea Ct, McCausland Dr, Oak Meadow Ct and Sara Fletcher Ct, the south end of Estate Ave (house numbers 7512-7642), and the east half of Waynesboro Dr (1490-1587).

Bradford Oaks was constructed in three phases, between 2001-2006 by builders including John Hershberger, LDA Custom Homes, Millstone Builders, Patrick Homes, and R.A. Young Homes.

These two-story homes showcase Transitional American and Neo-Colonial architecture with stone or brick accents. There are also some full stone/brick facades.

Homes range from 2,340-4,700 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-4.5 bathrooms.

Homes are appointed with desirable amenities, which can include first-floor laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, mudrooms, front-entry foyers with (some are two-story), hardwood flooring, formal dining rooms with tray ceilings, formal living rooms and/or private dens, sunrooms or screened porches, and fireplaced great rooms (some are vaulted or two-story) with large windows that are open to kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, a center island, breakfast bar, tile backsplash, walk-in pantry, and dinette area. First or second-floor owner’s suites (some have vaulted or tray ceilings) include walk-in closets, and en-suite bathrooms with tiled walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Full finished lower levels (some are coveted walkouts!) may be completed with theater or media rooms, kitchenettes, bars, exercise rooms, and storage areas. Side-entry garages accommodate 2-3 cars.

Residences are serviced with public sewer and public water.

Professionally designed backyards may feature custom stamped patios and/or composite decks, covered living areas, fireplaces or fire pits, and even in-ground pools.

Lots measure approximately 100′ wide with ≥70′ setbacks and are primarily sized from 0.44 to 0.64 acres.

Lots have varied tree cover, ranging from cleared to lightly treed or partially wooded.

The site features mostly flat terrain, ideal for children, dogs, gardens, play equipment, swimming pools and lawn games.

There are three large fountained ponds, offering serene water views to surrounding homes.

Bradford Oaks amenities include an 8.27-acre community park (large yellow area within the blue border on the illustrated map above), accessible between 7604 & 7614 Estate Ave. The park includes open greenspace, a little league baseball field, and a playground with swings. There is also a gazebo located at the southeast corner of Waynesboro Dr and Oak Meadow Dr.

The east end of Estate Ave and McCausland Dr abuts an exempt parcel of land owned by the Township of Twinsburg (green plot on the above-illustrated map).

The elegant boulevard-style entrance to Oak Meadow Dr has a landscaped divided median with engraved masonry signage flanked by beautifully landscaped beds ornamented by stacked stone pillars and white decorative fencing.

There are a total of four full cul-de-sacs in this development, located along Janea Ct, McCausland Dr, Oak Meadow Ct and Sara Fletcher Ct, each enhanced by a landscaped island.

Streets have curbs, but typical of Hudson neighborhoods, no sidewalks.

Uniform driveway post lights and mailboxes ensure a cohesive streetscape.

Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Bradford Oaks are approximately $570 annually.

To the north, Estate Ave adjoins Mar-Well Estates, which has its own entrance off Twinsburg Rd.

To the west, Waynesboro Dr adjoins Bradford Woods, which also has an entrance off Twinsburg Rd.

Bradford Oaks is bordered by Chadds Ford to the south.

Bradford Oaks is located along the northern end of Hudson, Ohio (Summit County) in Twinsburg Township, off the south side of Twinsburg Rd, nearly equidistant between Valley View Rd and Darrow Rd (OH-91). 

Highways are accessible in 7 min to I-480, and 10 min to I-271 and 13 min to I-80/Turnpike.

This neighborhood is served by the highly regarded Twinsburg City School District.

A Twinsburg Community Garden is located directly across the street.

The 260-acre Hudson Springs Park is a 12 min drive, offering a 50-acre stocked lake for fishing or boating, 2.2 miles of shaded trails, picnic pavilions, disk golf course, horseshoe courts, volleyball courts, bocce ball court, children’s hedge maze, and a playground.

The 33,000-acre Cuyahoga Valley National Park is only 12 min away, which includes the Cuyahoga River and numerous waterfalls, the 87-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.

Golfers are 14 min from the city-owned golf club, Ellsworth Meadows. If you’re looking for social membership and golf, you’re 7 min to Hudson Country Club and 14 min to Lake Forest Country Club.
