Williamsburg Colony is a community of 79 homes nestled along Ellsworth Meadows Golf Club with neighborhood access to park trails.
This subdivision is located one mile west of Darrow Rd (OH-91), off the north side of Barlow Rd. It comprises the streets of Virginia Ct, Virginia Dr and Williamsburg Cir, the south end of Nicholson Dr (house numbers 5624-5741), and seven homes on Barlow Rd.
Homes that were constructed from 1987-2004 by builders including Comstock, Prestige Homes, and Wagler.
These two-story homes range from 2,300-4,500+ square feet with 4-5 bedrooms and 2.5-3.5 bathrooms.
Facades include New England-style architecture, including Georgian, Greek Revival, and Victorian-inspired designs.
Homes are appointed with desirable amenities including hardwood flooring, first-floor laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, formal dining rooms, formal living rooms, screened porches, and fireplaced great rooms that are open to updated kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, a center island, breakfast bar, tile backsplash, and dinette area. Lots measure approximately 100′ wide and are sized from 0.42 to 1.6 acres.
Lots have varied land cover, ranging from lightly to heavily treed.
The eastern end of this development is bordered by a narrow treed parcel where Nicholson Trail leads north to the 75-acre Cascade Park. The trail is accessible through the adjoining community to the north (off the east side of Nicholson Dr, immediately north of its intersection with Heritage Ct) and also off the north side of Barlow Rd, about 200 feet east of the entrance to Nicholson Dr. Cascade Park has three ball diamonds, a playground, picnic pavilion, full basketball court, ice skating, a stream with waterfalls that flow into a natural peat bog, and a 3/4-mile wooded nature trail.
Just east of the trail is the city-owned golf club, Ellsworth Meadows.
A drainage ditch leading westward to Mud Brook runs along the rear property line of homes along the north side of Williamsburg Cir, where there are riparian setbacks.
The entrance streets of Nicholson Dr and Williamsburg Cir are designated by brick-lined landscaped beds with white picket fencing.
Virginia Ct has a cul-de-sac.
There are no Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Williamsburg Colony.
As with most Hudston neighborhoods, this subdivision has no curbs or sidewalks.
Williamsburg Colony adjoins the subdivision to the north, The Woods of Williamsburg, via Nicholson Dr, which has its own entrances on W Streetsboro St.
Other comparable subdivisions nearby include West Village, located to the northwest on the opposite side of W Streetsboro St.

Williamsburg Colony subdivision is located in southwest Hudson, Ohio (Summit County), off the north side of Barlow Rd, one mile west of Darrow Rd (OH-91).
Highways are accessible in 8 min to I-80/Turnpike, 12 min to I-271, and 13 min to I-480.
It is served by the nationally acclaimed Hudson City School District.
A number of private schools also serve the community, including Western Reserve Academy (grades 9-12), Seton Catholic School (K-8), and Hudson Montessori School (preschool-8th grade) — each located in Hudson; Old Trail School (preschool-8th grade) in Fairlawn; and Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (grades 7-12) in Cuyahoga Falls.
Located 2.5 miles away in downtown Hudson, First & Main is an upscale retail district with national chain stores along with locally-owned shops and restaurants. First & Main is also home to more than a dozen annual events in the park-like square.

The 33,000-acre Cuyahoga Valley National Park is only 9 min away, which includes the Cuyahoga River and numerous waterfalls, the 87-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.
Directly east of this development is Ellsworth Meadows. If you’re looking for social membership and golf, you’re 6 min to Lake Forest Country Club and 10 min to Hudson Country Club.
Boston Mills and Brandywine Ski Resorts are a 13 min drive for skiing and tubing during the winter months.
