St. Andrews Commons in Hudson

St. Andrews Commons, in northeastern Hudson Ohio, is a community of 75 homes adjacent to the city’s keystone park. Homes were constructed from 1988-2012 and most have since been updated. Builders include Prestige Homes.

These colonial homes range in size from 3,200-5,200 square feet with 4-5 bedrooms and 3-4.5 bathrooms.

Homes are appointed with desirable amenities including hardwood flooring, two-story foyers with turned staircases and coat closets, formal dining rooms, formal living rooms, private dens, and large first-floor laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets. Great rooms with fireplaces are open to kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, breakfast bar seating, tile backsplash, walk-in pantry, dinette area. Vaulted owner’s suites (most are 2nd floor) include walk-in closets and spacious en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed commodes. Full finished lower levels are complete with media rooms, kitchenettes, bars, exercise rooms, and storage areas. Homes offer attached 3 car side-entry garages for maximum curb appeal.

Professionally designed backyard gardens feature lush landscape beds, screened porches, gazebos or pergolas, paver patios and/or composite decks, and fireplaces or fire pits.

Residences have public sewer and public water.

Homesites in St. Andrews Commons range from .60 to 1.3 acres. Lots are lightly to heavily treed.

The northwest section abuts the forested parkland of Hudson Springs Park (parkland is designated in green on above map) for endless views of nature and wildlife viewing opportunities. There are also direct entrances to the park’s trails from St Ives Blvd.

The southwest end of this subdivision backs to the residences of Last Valley Ln.

There is one entrance to St. Andrews Commons off E Steetsboro St via St Regis Blvd. The entrance is flanked on either side by landscape beds, burgundy brick accent walls with lantern-topped pillars, and white three-rail fencing that extends along the front of the development.

In addition to St Regis Blvd, this subdivision also encompasses the cul-de-sac streets of St George Dr and St Ives Blvd. Its streets are adorned with tree lawn saplings and mature trees. Like much of Hudson, it does not have curbs or sidewalks.

Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at St. Andrews Commons are approximately $150 annually.

The subdivision of St. Andrews Commons is in northeastern Hudson Ohio (Summit County) along the border of Streetsboro. It is located off E Streetsboro Rd, 0.9 miles east of Stow Rd.

Highways are accessible in 7 min to I-480, 9 min to I-80/Turnpike, and 17 min to I-271.

This neighborhood is serviced by the nationally acclaimed Hudson City School District. The main campus (Early Learning, Elementary, Intermediate, and Middle Schools) is roughly a 7 min drive. Hudson High School is a 6 min drive.

A number of nearby private schools also serve the community, including Western Reserve Academy (grades 9-12), Seton Catholic School (K-8), and Hudson Montessori School (preschool-8th grade) — each located in Hudson; Old Trail School (preschool-8th grade) in Fairlawn; and Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (grades 7-12) in Cuyahoga Falls.

LifeCenter Plus is 10 min away, Hudson’s full-service four-season health and fitness facility with strength-training and cardio equipment, five pools including a warm water therapy pool plus an outdoor aquatic center, an indoor track, rock climbing wall, racquetball and pickleball courts, as well as cycling, pilates, yoga and Tai Chi studios.

The aforementioned trails leading to Hudson Springs Park offers the 260-acre with a 50-acre stocked lake for fishing or boating, 2.2 miles of shaded trails, picnic pavilions, disk golf course, horseshoe courts, volleyball courts, bocce ball court, children’s hedge maze, and a playground.

You are 8 min from Summit Bike and Hike Trail (Silver Springs Trailhead), which offers 34 miles of trails past the Cuyahoga Valley National Forest and through Summit, Cuyahoga and Portage counties.

The 33,000-acre Cuyahoga Valley National Park is just 15 min away, which includes the Cuyahoga River and numerous waterfalls, the 87-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.

Golfers are only 10 min from the city-owned golf club, Ellsworth Meadows. If you’re looking for social membership and golf, it’s 9 min to Hudson Country Club and 10 min to Lake Forest Country Club.

Boston Mills and Brandywine Ski Resorts are a 19 min drive for skiing and tubing during the winter months.
