About Jamestown Estates in North Royalton

Jamestown Estates is an established community of 65 homes with treed or wooded backyards in North Royalton, Ohio. This subdivision encompasses Jamestown Dr, four homes on the south side of Wallings Rd (even house numbers 3005-3125), and sixteen homes on the north end of Apollo Dr (house numbers 11901-11991).

Phases 1-3 (Jamestown Dr and Wallings Rd addresses) are located off the south side of Wallings Rd, nearly equidistant between State Rd and Broadview Rd.

The sixteen homes of Phase 4 along Apollo Dr (house numbers 11901-11991) are not connected to the main community. Phase 4 homes are accessible through the adjoining subdivisions of Foxwood Estates from Wallings Rd, or Royalton Heights from Royalwood Rd.

This development was constructed in four phases from 1990-1999, with the final home built in 2013. Builders include Brittany Homes, Cosmopolitan Homes, Friedrich Construction, and Meadowbrook Builders.

Front elevations are styled with a variety of Colonial Revival, Contemporary, Neo-Colonial, Ranch, Transitional and Tudor architecture, offering an interesting and unique streetscape. Most facades are constructed with full brick or brick/stone accents.

These 1-story (ranch), 1.5-story and 2-story homes range from 2,100-3,500 above-grade square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-3.5+ bathrooms. Including finished basement space, these homes can total 5,500 square feet.

First-floor amenities and principal rooms include hardwood or LVP flooring, laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, formal dining rooms with tray ceilings, private offices or formal living rooms, and large fireplaced great rooms (some are vaulted) that open to kitchens featuring quartz or granite countertops, a breakfast bar, pantry, dinette area, and even a sunroom.

First or second-floor owner’s suites (2-story homes have second-floor primary suites) feature a vaulted ceiling, a walk-in closet(s), and en-suite bathroom with dual sinks/vanities, a walk-in shower, soaking/jetted tub, and enclosed commode.

Second floors may have lofts or bonus rooms.

Finished lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!) may include rec rooms, billiard areas, bars, media rooms, and exercise rooms.

Attached front or side-entry garages accommodate 2-3 cars.

Outdoor living is enjoyed on composite decks and/or custom patios.

Most backyards are lightly treed or wooded, providing birdsong, shade, and cooler al fresco entertaining on hot summer days.

Lots measure approximately 100′ wide and are primarily sized from 0.39 to 0.49, with a few larger lots ranging up to 0.68 acres.

Plots of common area owned by the city or HOAs (yellow parcels on above-illustrated map) extend open space views to abutting properties.

The entrance to Jamestown Dr (Phases 1-3) is flanked by stately curved brick walls with lantern-topped columns. A charming stone wall extends to the west along Wallings Rd.

Jamestown Dr has a permanent cul-de-sac.

All four phases of Jamestown Estates have curbs, sidewalks, and mature street trees.

Adjoining this subdivision to the west is Foxwood Estates.

Residences are served by the award-winning Brecksville-Broadview Heights City School District.

There are no Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees.

Cuyahoga Valley National Park is 18 min away, offering 33,000-acres with hiking trails, bike paths, a scenic railroad, and a vast array of flora & fauna.

Golfers are only 10 min to Seneca, 11 min to Briarwood, 13 min to Valleaire, 12 min to Ironwood and Hinckley Hills, and 15 min to Pine Hills and Sleepy Hollow Golf Courses.

The Brecksville-Broadview Heights School campus is 10 min east.
