Camelot Estates is an upscale community of 60 luxury homes close to The Metroparks in North Royalton, Ohio. This subdivision is located 0.1 miles east of W Edgerton Rd, off the north side of Akins Rd, and comprises Lancelot Ln W, Lancelot Ln E, King Arthurs Ct, and Merlin Oval.


Homes were custom-built exclusively by Chiuchiarelli Builders from 1990-1996.
The streetscape is lined with varying yet complimentary designs of traditional, contemporary and Tudor styles with full to partial brick or stone facades.
These ranch and colonial homes mainly range from 3,000-5,500 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 3-5 bathrooms.
Inside, homes are appointed with hardwood flooring, dramatic two-story foyers with open turned or curved staircases, first-floor laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, formal dining rooms with tray ceilings, formal living rooms, private dens with glass-paned french doors, and fireplaced great rooms (some are vaulted or two-story) that are open to large kitchens with granite or quartz countertops, tile backsplash, breakfast bar seating, pantry, and dinette area. Spacious first or second-floor owner’s suites (some with vaulted or tray ceilings and sitting areas) include walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed commodes. Finished lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!) have media rooms, bars, and exercise rooms.
Attached front or side-entry garages accommodate 2-3 cars.
Generously sized homesites are approximately 100′ wide and range from 0.39 to 1.88 acres. There is also one lot sized at 4.2 acres.
Backyards may be cleared, lightly treed or heavily wooded, the latter attracting songbirds and offering privacy, shade and significantly cooler al fresco entertaining on hot summer days.
Outdoor living is enhanced by custom patios and/or decks, professional landscaping, gazebos and firepits. Backyard storage sheds, playsets, gardens, and in-ground and above-ground swimming pools are permitted.
A tributary stream of the East Branch Rocky River transverses the north end of King Arthurs Ct, offering scenic rolling backyard topography on all lots surrounding the street.

The entrance to Lancelot Ln W is flanked on the right by a small landscaped bed with signage. Just beyond it, on the west side of the street, is a large fountained pond maintained by the HOA.
There are mature street trees, curbs, and sidewalks throughout the development.
King Arthurs Ct and Merlin Oval have permanent cul-de-sacs.
With only one entrance and no connection to another subdivision, traffic is limited to residents and their guests.
Directly west are Quail Ridge Condominiums.
Bordering the community directly north is a wooded 5.44-acre parcel owned by the city, beyond which are commercial plazas.
NOTE: The industrial parkway housing the City of North Royalton’s Wastewater Treatment and Sewage Plants is directly west of the King Arthurs Ct cul-de-sac. On rare occasions, it can cause a rotten egg odor in the area.
This neighborhood is served by the highly-rated North Royalton City School District.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Camelot Estates are approximately $200 annually.

Highways are accessible in 5 min to I-71, 9 min to I-80/Turnpike, and 16 min to I-77.
SouthPark Mall and Strongsville’s bustling retail sector is only a 9 min drive.
The North Royalton YMCA is 11 min away, featuring a gymnasium with premium free-weights and exercise equipment, cycling studio, yoga studio, an elevated 1/12 mile walking/running track, two-court basketball gymnasium, aquatics center, and an outdoor playground.
As for parks, Mill Stream Run Reservation is 5 min away with trails, rope courses and zip lines, as well as The Chalet, which has two toboggan chutes that are open in the winter. The Metroparks’ Valley Parkway Connector Trail is a 9 min bike (or 5 min drive to the parking lot), which connects eastward to Brecksville Reservation and the 81-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail and westward through Mill Stream Run Reservation all the way to Rocky River Reservation. It is 12 min to Hinckley Reservation with a 90-acre lake, watersport rentals, hiking trails, and rock climbing. Cuyahoga Valley National Park is 23 min away, offering 33,000-acres with hiking trails, bike paths, a scenic railroad, and a vast array of flora & fauna.
Golfers have Valleaire, Briarwood, Pine Hills, Hinckley Hills, Ironwood, and Seneca are all within a 12 min drive.
