About Hunting Dr in North Royalton
Oakridge Estates Subd #9 aka Oakridge Estates 09 is an upscale section of 43 homes within Oakridge Estates of North Royalton, Ohio, located along the eastern edge of the community, comprising Hunting Dr and the stub street of Thames Dr.
The homes of Oakridge Estates Subd #9/Oakridge Estates 09 are accessible from the west side of State Rd through Oakridge Estates, the north side of Wallings Rd through Valley Vista, or the south side of W Sprague Rd through Royalton Woods.
This was the final phase of development (Phase 9) in Oakridge Estates. These homes were built by Sherwood Construction from 1993-2004, most of which have since been updated.
You won’t find any basic vinyl facades here! Homes feature stately front elevations of partial/full brick or Tudor styles.
These 1.5 and 2-story homes mainly range from 2,200-4,800 square feet with 3-4 bedrooms and 2.5-4 bathrooms.
Inside, amenities generally include two-story foyers, hardwood flooring, first-floor laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, formal dining rooms with tray ceilings, formal living rooms or private dens, and large fireplaced great rooms (some are vaulted) that open to kitchens featuring quartz or granite countertops, tile backsplash, and dinette area or morning room. Vaulted owner’s suites include walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers, soaking/jetted tubs, and dual sinks/vanities. Finished lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!) are complete with media rooms, billiard areas, bars, and exercise rooms.
Attached side-entry garages enhance curb appeal and accommodate 2-3 cars.
Outdoor living is enjoyed on decks and/or patios.
Homesites are approximately 106′ wide and mainly sized at 0.39 acres, but there are some larger cul-de-sac lots up to 0.53 acres.
Some lots, particularly along the south end of Hunting Dr, have treed or wooded backyards.
Hunting Dr has permanent cul-de-sacs at each end; Thames Dr is a dead-end street with four homes (4602, 4603, 4612 & 4613 Thames Dr).
These homes are bordered by adjoining residential communities to the east, Oakridge Estates to the west, and Royal Valley to the south.
🏊 Residents are eligible to join the members-only Oakridge Pool, which is a 4-min drive to the parking lot, or an 8-min bike via the pedestrian footpath (between house numbers 8088 & 8100 Maplegrove Ave). Oakridge Pool is heated and includes a slide, diving board, hot tub, community building, and playground.
Residences are served by the highly-rated North Royalton City School District.
There are no Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees.

Oakridge Estates Subd #9 or Oakridge Estates 09, which includes Hunting Dr and Thames Dr, is located in the northeast corner of North Royalton Ohio, near the border of Parma. Homes are accessible from State Rd, W Sprague Rd, and W Wallings Rd.
Highways are accessible in 8 min to I-77, 15 min to I-80/Turnpike, and 17 min to I-71.
Conveniently located 5 min away at the intersection of Wallings and State roads is a Drug Mart, Hop Hing Chinese takeout, Blue Monkey Brewing Company, Cleats sports bar, Joe D’s Beverage, Marco’s Pizza, and Sunoco gas station.

As for parks, West Creek Reservation in Parma is an 11 min drive for mountain bike trails, hiking and paved trails, and picnic pavilions. The Metroparks Mill Stream Run Reservation is 15 min away with trails, rope courses and zip lines, as well as The Chalet, which has two toboggan chutes that are open in the winter.
If you’re a golfer, you are 12-17 mins from Seneca, Briarwood, Hinckley Hills, Ironwood, Valleaire, Sleepy Hollow and Pine Hills.
