About Glen Abbey in North Royalton
Glen Abbey is a community of 53 semi-custom homes in northwest North Royalton Ohio. Most homes were constructed by Ryan Homes from 2004-2006. Bailey Custom Homes added two homes in 2019. As of late 2022, there were two lots yet to be developed.
These colonial homes range mainly from 2,600-4,500 square feet with 3-4 bedrooms and 2.5-4.5 bathrooms.
Amenities include two-story foyers with open staircases, hardwood flooring, first-floor laundry rooms, flex rooms and/or private dens, formal dining rooms, and fireplaced great rooms that are open to kitchens with granite or quartz countertops, center island, breakfast bar seating, tile backsplash, and dinette area or light-filled morning room. Second-floor owner’s suites include vaulted or tray ceilings, sitting areas, walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Finished lower levels have media rooms, bars, and exercise rooms. Living is extended outdoors with custom patios and/or composite decks, and firepits. Attached garages, most with front-entry, accommodate parking for 2-3 cars.


Deep homesites are sized from .35 to .42 acres, some with treed backyards.
Common area (designated in yellow on below map) owned by the HOA totals 5.09 acres. The southern parcel has two detention ponds.

The entrance is off Abbey Rd via Glen Abbey Dr. It is flanked on the right by masonry signage surrounded by shrubs.
In addition to Glen Abbey Dr, the subdivision also includes one home on Abbey Rd (house number 10613) and the streets of Glen Dr and the stub street of Orchard Ln. Both are currently dead-end streets, which may be extended with future development opportunities.
The community has tree lawn saplings, curbs and sidewalks on both sides of the street.
Glen Abbey is not connected to another development, so traffic is limited to residents and their guests.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Glen Abbey are approximately $285 annually.
This neighborhood is served by the highly-rated North Royalton City School District.

The Metroparks Mill Stream Run Reservation is a 7 min drive with trails, rope courses and zip lines, as well as The Chalet, which has two toboggan chutes that are open in the winter.
