About Devonshire Woods in North Royalton
Devonshire Woods in North Royalton Ohio is a community of 89 luxury homes built from 1992-1998, with the final homes constructed in 2004 and 2021. Many of the older homes have since been updated.
Homes include two-story styles that range from 3,100-4,500 square feet with 4-5 bedrooms and 3-4.5 bathrooms.
Inside, homes are appointed with hardwood flooring, dramatic two-story foyers with open staircases, formal dining rooms, formal living rooms and/or private dens, and fireplaced great rooms (some are two-story/vaulted) that open to large kitchens with granite or quartz countertops, tile backsplash, breakfast bar seating, pantry, and dinette area. Vaulted owner’s suites include walk-in closets, and en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers, soaking/jetted tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed commodes. Finished lower levels have media rooms, bars, and exercise rooms. Attached front or side-entry garages accommodate 2-3 cars. Backyards are complete with custom patios and/or decks, professional landscaping, and firepits/fireplaces.
Spacious homesites are mostly sized from .39 to .54 acres, but there are some larger lots up to 2.88 acres. Some have treed or wooded backyards, attracting songbirds and offering privacy, shade and significantly cooler al fresco entertaining on hot summer days.
The entrance street of Greyfriars Cir is off Lytle Rd from Bennett Rd. It is flanked on the left side by a landscaped bed with masonry signage.
In addition to Greyfriars Cir, the community also encompasses the streets of Cavendish Ct, Founders Ct, Harrow Pl, Montague Ct, four homes on Lytle Rd (house numbers 19485, 19515, 19525 & 19535), and ten homes on Rye Gate Dr, all of which have mature street trees, curbs, and sidewalks on both sides of the street.
To the north, Rye Gate Dr becomes the subdivision of Nottingham Woods, which has its own entrance off Bennett Rd. Devonshire Woods also connects to the subdivisions of Cambridge Park (aka North Boston) to the south and Timberlane Estates to the east, both of which have entrances off Boston Rd.
Directly north is a parcel owned by the Board of Education.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Devonshire Woods are approximately $150 annually.
This neighborhood is served by the highly-rated North Royalton City School district.

Devonshire Woods is located in southwest North Royalton near the border of Hinckley, off Lytle Rd from Bennett Rd.
Highways are accessible in 10 min to I-71, 15 min to I-80/Turnpike, and 17 min to I-77.
SouthPark Mall and Strongsville’s bustling retail sector is only a 10 min drive.
The North Royalton YMCA is 11 minutes away, featuring a gymnasium with premium free-weights and exercise equipment, cycling studio, yoga studio, an elevated 1/12 mile walking/running track, two-court basketball gymnasium, aquatics center, and an outdoor playground.
As for parks, The Metroparks Mill Stream Run Reservation is 7 min away with trails, rope courses and zip lines, as well as The Chalet, which has two toboggan chutes that are open in the winter. It’s also just 10 min to Hinckley Reservation with a 90-acre lake, watersport rentals, hiking trails, and rock climbing. Brecksville Reservation is only 16 min away. It is the largest of the 18 Cleveland Metroparks reservations, offering excellent trails with scenic gorges and waterfalls. Cuyahoga Valley National Park is 23 min away, offering 33,000-acres with hiking trails, bike paths, a scenic railroad, and a vast array of flora & fauna.
If you’re a golfer, you are only 4 min to Pine Hills, 6 min to Valleaire, 9 min to Briarwood, 10 min to Hinckley Hills, 11 min to Ironwood, and 12 min to Seneca.
