About Harley Hills in North Royalton
Harley Hills (also called Harley Hills Estates) is a subdivision in North Royalton Ohio with 69 custom-built luxury homes surrounded by scenic rolling topography.
These homes were mainly built between 1993-2006, with the most recent builds in 2014 and 2018. Builders include Cosmopolitan Homes, Decesare Homes, Head Builders, J Friedrich Construction, LDA Custom Homes, Robert Stachowicz, Star-Lite Building & Developing Co, Tanglewood Elite Homes, and V Ragone Builders.
As of early 2023, there was one lot yet undeveloped.
Facades are mostly full brick/stone, with some homes having a combination of brick/stone with shake, vinyl or stucco.
The majority of homes are colonial or cape cod, but there are a couple of ranches. They mainly range from 3,700 to 8,600+ square feet, with 3-5 bedrooms and 3-5 bathrooms.
Amenities found in these homes include open floorplans, dramatic two-story foyers with open staircases, hardwood and ceramic tile flooring, two-story/vaulted great rooms with fireplaces and floor-to-ceiling windows, formal dining rooms with tray ceilings, formal living rooms and/or private dens, second-floor lofts/bonus rooms, and large laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets. Kitchens feature an abundance of granite or quartz countertops, breakfast bars, tiled backsplash, walk-in pantry, and dinette. First or second-floor owner’s suites include vaulted or tray ceilings, walk-in closets, and en suite baths with tiled walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed commodes. Finished lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!) have media rooms, kitchenettes, bars, and exercise rooms. Sside-entry garages accommodate 2-3+ cars.
Living is extended outdoors with custom patios and/or decks, screened or covered porches, and firepits.
Generous homesites are sized from 0.40 to 1.15 acres. Nearly every backyard is private and wooded.
Many homes sit upon rolling hills with wooded lots and incredible views over the western horizon for breathtaking sunsets. The further up the hill, the better the view. We can tell you firsthand; we’ve lived here since 2009.
The entrance on Harley Hills Dr is off York Rd. It is flanked on either side by landscaped beds with mature pines and stacked stone and masonry signage.
This development is also accessible from Ridge Rd via Julia Dr, which intersects at the top of Harley Hills Dr.
The west end of Harley Hills Dr is occupied by the cluster homes of Homestead at Harley Hills. The custom-built single-family homes begin after Heritage Trl.
In addition to the homes along Harley Hills Dr, the subdivision also includes the streets of Ponderosa Dr, Pioneer Trail Dr, Gordon St, Tall Timber Cir, nine homes surrounding the cul-de-sac of James Dr, and one home on Cartwright Pkwy. Additional homes on Cartwright Pkwy are part of the new construction Viewpoint subdivision.
All streets have curbs and sidewalks.
From the entrance to the top of Harley Hills Dr, there is an elevation increase of roughly 205 feet. As such, Harley Hills Dr is prioritized for salting and plowing come winter.
The Homeowner’s Association (HOA) at Harley Hills is inactive and there are no fees.
This neighborhood is served by the highly-rated North Royalton City School District.

The subdivision of Harley Hills is located in north-central North Royalton, off the east side of York Rd between W Walling Rd and Royalton Rd.
Highways are accessible in 10 min to I-71, 12 min to I-80/OH-Turnpike, and 13 min to I-77.
You are just 12 min from SouthPark Mall and Strongsville’s bustling retail sector for access to local dining and retail.
The North Royalton YMCA is 7 min drive, featuring a gymnasium with premium free-weights and exercise equipment, cycling studio, yoga studio, an elevated 1/12 mile walking/running track, two-court basketball gymnasium, aquatics center, and an outdoor playground.
The Metroparks’ Mill Stream Run Reservation is 8 min away with trails, rope courses and zip lines, as well as The Chalet, which has two toboggan chutes that are open in the winter.
Golfers will appreciate the proximity to various courses: 10 min to Valleaire and Briarwood, 11 min to Hinckley Hills, and 12 min to Ironwood and Seneca Golf Courses.
Neighbors regularly meet at Mr. Divot’s Sports Park to socialize and enjoy the sports bar, heated driving range bays, sand volleyball courts, batting cages, miniature golf, and ice cream shop. There’s even a dirt cut-through path from the Homestead at Harley Hills community, so you can walk there!
