Quail Ridge Condominiums in North Royalton Ohio is a community of 80 limited-maintenance townhomes close to The Metroparks. Homes were built from 1998-2002.
Ranches range from 1,700-2,000 square feet with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Cape cod styles range from 2,100-3,800 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 2-3.5 bathrooms.
Condos may include volume and cathedral ceilings, open staircases, abundant windows, first-floor laundry rooms with utility tubs, flex rooms, an open-concept formal dining area and great room, and kitchens with a pantry, vaulted dinette, and hearth room. Second levels include lofts and walk-in storage. Spacious first-floor owner’s suites (some with tray ceilings) include walk-in closets, slider doors to covered patio or deck, and en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers, soaking/jetted tubs, dual sink vanity, and enclosed commode. Most units are on slabs, but some have finished basements with coveted walkouts. Attached front or side-entry garages accommodate 2 cars.
Decorative and pine tree plantings throughout the community enhance the streetscape and views from windows.
Two elongated ponds offer serene water views for abutting homes.
The perimeter of the subdivision is surrounded by mature trees for privacy from surrounding parcels.
A stream from the Rocky River East Branch runs along the northwest corner of the community.
The entrance to Quail Ridge Condos off W Edgerton Rd via Quail Ridge Dr. It is flanked on the right side by a landscaped bed with signage suspended between stone pillars.
In addition to Quail Ridge Dr, the community also encompasses the streets of Pheasant Run Cir and Eagle Nest Dr.
Streets do not have sidewalks, but there are curbs.
With only one entrance and no connection to another subdivision, traffic is limited to residents and their guests.
NOTE: Just beyond a greenbelt of trees to the north and northwest end of the subdivision are the City of North Royalton’s Wastewater Treatment and Sewage Plants. On rare occasions, it can cause a rotten egg odor in the area.
To the southwest are Edgerton Woods Condos and to the east is Camelot Estates.
This neighborhood is served by the highly-rated North Royalton City School district.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Quail Ridge Condominiums are approximately $258/month, which includes all exterior maintenance, snow removal, lawn care, exterior window washing, and gutter cleaning.
Fountain Pointe homes are 0.2 miles north on W Edgerton Rd.

Quail Ridge Condominiums are located in southwest North Royalton off W Edgerton Rd, 0.1 miles west of the terminus of Akins Rd.
Highways are accessible in 5 min to I-71, 9 min to I-80/Turnpike, and 17 min to I-77.
SouthPark Mall and Strongsville’s bustling retail sector is only an 8 min drive.
The North Royalton YMCA is 11 min away, featuring a gymnasium with premium free-weights and exercise equipment, cycling studio, yoga studio, an elevated 1/12 mile walking/running track, two-court basketball gymnasium, aquatics center, and an outdoor playground.
The main section of Mill Stream Run Reservation is a 3 min drive with trails, rope courses and zip lines, as well as The Chalet, which has two toboggan chutes that are open in the winter. Aukerman Park‘s dog agility course is 4 min away. The Metroparks’ Valley Parkway Connector Trail is a 5 min bike (or 2 min drive to trail parking lot) with Royalview Trailhead (14 min bike or 6 min drive) offering roughly 10 miles of wooded mountain bike/nature trails.
Golfers are only 12 min or less from Valleaire, Briarwood, Pine Hills, Hinckley Hills, Ironwood, and Seneca.
