The Trails in North Royalton Ohio is an upscale community of 31 luxury homes adjacent to The Metroparks. Homes were built by Ryan Homes in 2005, many of which have since been updated.

Most homes are colonials with stately full-brick facades.

Homes range from 3,000-5,300 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 3-5 bathrooms.

Inside, homes are appointed with hardwood flooring, dramatic two-story foyers with turned staircases, first-floor laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, formal dining rooms with tray ceilings, formal living rooms and/or private dens with glass-paned french doors, and fireplaced great rooms (some are vaulted) that open to large kitchens with granite or quartz countertops, tile backsplash, breakfast bar seating, pantry, and dinette area or morning room. Second-floor owner’s suites (some with vaulted or tray ceilings and sitting areas) include french doors, walk-in closets, and en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers, soaking tubs, and dual sinks/vanities. Finished lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!) have media rooms, bars, and exercise rooms. Attached side-entry garages accommodate 2-3 cars.

Spacious homesites are sized from .46 to .87 acres. Most boast treed or wooded backyards, attracting songbirds and offering privacy, shade and significantly cooler al fresco entertaining on hot summer days.

You’ll appreciate direct access to the Metroparks’ Valley Parkway Connector Trail. Heading east, the trail connects to Brecksville Reservation and the 81-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail. To the west, it leads through Mill Stream Run Reservation all the way to Rocky River Reservation. Along the trail less than a mile east is an archery range and Aukerman Park with a dog agility course, picnic pavilion, and half-mile mowed grass meadow walking trail. Take the trail 1.8 miles west to the Royalview Trailhead, with roughly 10 miles of wooded mountain bike/nature trails.

The entrance is off Valley Pkwy via Silver Tree Trl. It is flanked on the left side by a .46 acre common area parcel (yellow plot on above map) with a lushly landscaped bed and masonry signage.

In addition to Silver Tree Trl, the community also encompasses the streets of Ethan Trl and Raya Oval.

There are mature street trees, curbs, and sidewalks throughout the development. Matching black double mailboxes (2 boxes per post) are placed at every other driveway, bringing continuity to the streetscape.

With only one entrance and no connection to another subdivision, traffic is limited to residents and their guests.

Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at The Trails are approximately $300 annually.

This neighborhood is served by the highly-rated North Royalton City School district.
