About Whispering Meadows in North Royalton
Whispering Meadows is an established community of 68 homes in North Royalton, Ohio, located off the south side of Wallings Rd, 0.8 miles east of State Rd.
This subdivision comprises the residential streets of Red Oak N (N Red Oak), Red Oak S (S Red Oak), Thorn Tree Dr, nine homes on the west end of Meadow Ln (house numbers 3192-3233), and most homes on Forestwood Ln (house numbers 10152-10312).
These homes were built in two phases from 1995-2018. Homes were constructed by Edgewood Homes, Forestwood Homes (built by Callas & Callas Builders), Cannon Builders, Europa Homes, and Drees Homes.
Facades are styled with Colonial Revival, Modern Farmhouse, Neo-Colonial and Transitional architecture, constructed with full brick or brick/stone accents.
These 1-story (ranch), 1.5-story and 2-story homes range from 2,400-4,000 above-grade square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-4.5 bathrooms. Including finished basement space, these homes can total 5,800 square feet.
First floor amenities and principal rooms include hardwood or LVP flooring, two-story foyers, laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, formal dining rooms with tray ceilings, formal living rooms and/or private dens with glass-paned french doors, and large fireplaced great rooms (some are vaulted or two-story) that open to kitchens featuring quartz or granite countertops, a breakfast bar, pantry, and dinette area.
Owner’s suites (most are on the second floor) include a vaulted ceiling, walk-in closet(s), and en-suite bathroom with dual sinks/vanities, a walk-in shower, soaking/jetted tub, and enclosed commode.
Second floors have lofts or bonus rooms.
Finished lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!) may include rec rooms, billiard areas, bars, media rooms, and exercise rooms.
Attached front or side-entry garages accommodate 2-3 cars.
Backyards are appointed with custom patios and/or decks for outdoor living.
Backyard fences, playsets, and in-ground swimming pools are permitted.
Lots measure approximately 100′ wide and are sized from 0.39 to 0.90 acres. There is also one home with 2.49 acres.
Lots have varied land cover, ranging from fully cleared to those with lightly treed or partly wooded backyards, particularly along the west end of Forestwood Ln.
Directly south of the Red Oak South cul-de-sac is a 2.6-acre common area parcel with a retention pond owned by the HOA (yellow plot on above-illustrated map).

🛢️NOTE: Parcels of land surrounding this development have natural gas and oil wells (red dots on map above). They are located directly below the HOA common area and near the northeast corner of this subdivision. Due to visual encumbrance or concerns regarding health and safety, proximity to gas and oil wells can negatively impact home values. Residents in this community may receive monthly payments for mineral rights that are transferable to new owners.
N Red Oak and S Red Oak have permanent cul-de-sacs.
Forestwood Ln has a temporary turnaround. The developer owns plots of vacant land to the south, where the street may be extended with future development opportunities.
Streets are lined with curbs and sidewalks.
To the east, Meadow Ln adjoins the subdivision of Foxwood Estates, which has an entrance off Wallings Rd.
Residences are served by the highly-rated North Royalton City School District.

Whispering Meadows subdivision is located near the border of Broadview Heights in northwestern North Royalton, Ohio, off the south side of Wallings Rd, 0.8 miles east of State Rd.
I-77 is conveniently just an 8 min drive east.
Conveniently located 0.8 miles west at the intersection of Wallings and State Roads is a Drug Mart, Hop Hing Chinese takeout, Blue Monkey Brewing Company, Cleats Sports Bar, Joe D’s Beverage, Marco’s Pizza, and Sunoco gas station.
The North Royalton YMCA is a 3 min drive, featuring a gymnasium with premium free-weights and exercise equipment, a cycling studio, yoga studio, elevated track, a two-court basketball gymnasium, aquatics center, and an outdoor playground.
As for parks, Brecksville Reservation, the largest of the 18 Cleveland Metroparks reservations, offering excellent trails with scenic gorges and waterfalls, is 13 min east. The Metroparks Mill Stream Run Reservation is 14 min away with trails, rope courses and zip lines, and two toboggan chutes. Cuyahoga Valley National Park is 18 min away, offering 33,000-acres with hiking trails, bike paths, a scenic railroad, and a vast array of flora & fauna.
Golfers are 9 min to Seneca, 11 min to Briarwood, 12 min to Hinckley Hills and Ironwood, 13 min to Valleaire and Sleepy Hollow, and 15 min to Pine Hills.
