About Country Lakes Estates in Broadview Heights
Country Lakes Estates is a swim and tennis community of roughly 165 homes in northwest Broadview Heights, Ohio. The subdivision is located off the west side of Broadview Rd, between Wallings Rd and Royalwood Rd. It encompasses the streets of Countryside Dr, Countryview Dr, Crystalwood Dr, Lakeview Dr, Northwood Dr, Scenicview Dr, Somerset Dr, and Timberwood Dr.
Homes were built from 1988-1999 by builders including Bittersweet Homes, Capuano Homes, CHA Construction, and Rockwood Homes.
These two-story and ranch homes mainly range from 3,400-6,700 square feet with 4-6 bedrooms and 3-4.5 bathrooms.
Country Lakes Estates homes offer two-story foyers with open staircases, private dens with glass-paned french doors, first-floor laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, formal living rooms, formal dining rooms with tray ceilings, and fireplaced great rooms (some are vaulted) that open to spacious kitchens with quartz or granite countertops, breakfast bar seating, large pantries, dinette area, and even sunrooms. Oversized owner’s suites (most are second-floor) have sitting rooms/areas, large walk-in closets, and huge en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers, jetted or soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed commodes. Finished lower levels (some are coveted walkouts!) include home theaters, bars, billiard areas, and exercise rooms. Side-entry garages accommodate 3 cars. Outside, homes feature custom patios and/or decks.
Homesites are generously sized, ranging from 0.47 to 1.2 acres. Most lots have lightly treed to wooded backyards for privacy.
Residents enjoy various amenities (pictured below) including a recreation center, playground, pool, half basketball court, tennis courts, and a fountained catch-and-release lake.
The entrance via Countryside Dr is flanked by landscaped beds with garden rocks and burgundy brick signage. In the center of the street is a landscaped divided median. The entrance extends roughly 0.3 miles before the first home, so no houses sit along the main road.
There are street trees, lantern-style streetlights, curbs, and sidewalks throughout the development.
As Scenicview Dr turns north, it becomes Camden Ct, beginning the neighborhood of Windsor Woods, which has its own entrance off Wallings Rd.
To the south are the Courts of Country Lakes condos. To the northeast is the development of Creekview Village.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Country Lakes Estates are approximately $395 annually.
Residences are served by the award-winning Brecksville-Broadview Heights City School District.

Location Details
The community of Country Lakes Estates in northwest Broadview Heights Ohio is located on the west side of Broadview Rd, between Wallings Rd and Royalwood Rd.
With easy access to highways, you can get to just about anywhere within 30 minutes or less. The community is ideally situated 1.9 miles west of I-77—far enough away to evade interstate traffic noise, but still accessible in 9 min.
You are 7 min from downtown Broadview Heights for quick access to local dining and retail.
The city’s Rec Center is 10 min away, which includes an indoor track, fitness & spinning room, pool, gymnasium, childcare, rentable rooms, skate park, tennis and pickleball courts, baseball and soccer fields, playground, and splash pad.
As for parks, Brecksville Reservation is 10 min away. It is the largest of the 18 Cleveland Metroparks reservations, offering excellent trails with scenic gorges and waterfalls. West Creek Reservation in Parma is a 9 min drive for mountain bike trails, hiking and paved trails, and picnic pavilions. Cuyahoga Valley National Park is 18 min away, offering 33,000-acres with hiking trails, bike paths, a scenic railroad, and a vast array of flora & fauna.
If you’re a golfer, you are only 9 min to Seneca, 11 min to Briarwood, and 13 min to Sleepy Hollow Golf Courses.
The Brecksville-Broadview Heights school campus is an 11 min drive.
