About Oakwood in Broadview Heights
Oakwood is a community of 70 custom-built homes in western Broadview Heights, Ohio. The subdivision is located between State and Broadview Roads, off the north side of W Royalton Rd/Rt 82, encompassing the streets of Oakwood Trl, Magnolia Way, Osage Way, and Hawthorne Trl.
Homes were constructed between 1997-2006 by numerous builders including Capuano Homes, Christopher Homes, Main Street Builders, and Ridgeline Homes.
These colonial and cape cod homes range from 2,600 to 4,600+ square feet, with 3–5 bedrooms and 2.5–4.5 bathrooms.
Facades are traditionally styled with full-brick or partial stone/brick.
Amenities in Oakwood homes include hardwood and ceramic flooring, dramatic two-story foyers with open staircases, vaulted or two-story great rooms with fireplaces, formal dining and living rooms, private dens, and first-floor laundry. Granite kitchens feature oversized islands (some with breakfast bar seating), walk-in pantries, and dinettes. Large first or second-floor owner’s suites have walk-in closets, and glamour baths with walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Finished lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!) include media rooms, bars, and exercise rooms. Side-entry garages accommodate 2-3 cars. Custom patios and/or decks extend living outdoors.
Oakwood homesites measure approximately 100′ wide and 200′ deep, ranging from 0.46 to 0.95 acres. Some lots have treed or partially wooded backyards.
Play equipment, trampolines, gardens, sheds, and fences are permitted in this family-friendly neighborhood.
At the northwest and southeast corners of the community are common area parcels (yellow areas on map above)
The entrance to Oakwood Trl has a landscape bed with white picket fencing and community signage.
All three of its streets have street trees, curbs, and sidewalks on both sides of the street so there’s plenty of pavement to bike, skate, and walk your dog.
The first home is set back about 400′ from Royalton Rd so that no homes directly border the main road.
Residences are served by the highly-rated North Royalton City School District.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Oakwood are approximately $200 annually.
Oakwood is bordered to the west by the community of Hunters Creek.
