Hudson Park Estates in northeastern Hudson, Ohio is a family-friendly swim and tennis community of roughly 390 homes adjacent to the city’s Elementary and High Schools.

Hudson Park Estates amenities include more than 40 acres of common area, a championship-size pool, a wading pool, playground, pavilion, volleyball and basketball courts, two tennis courts with a nearby pergola, and a small lake for fishing. Swimming and tennis lessons are available to residents as well as a number of family social events throughout the year!

Homes were constructed from 1981-2005 by builders including Folta, Ken Payne, MMMC, and Schumacher. Most homes have since been updated.

Facades are styled as Georgian, Tudor, New England, and contemporary styles. Most front elevations are full vinyl but there are some partial or full brick fronts.

These colonial homes range in size from 2,300-4,700 square feet with 3-6 bedrooms and 2.5-5.5 bathrooms.

Homes are appointed with desirable amenities including two-story foyers with open staircases, hardwood flooring, multiple fireplaces, formal dining rooms, formal living rooms and/or private dens with built-ins, and laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets. Vaulted or two-story great rooms with fireplaces and large windows are open to granite or quartz kitchens featuring a center island, breakfast bar seating, tile backsplash, walk-in pantry, dinette area, and sunroom. Vaulted owner’s suites (most are second floor) include sitting areas, walk-in closets, and en-suite bathrooms with tiled walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Full finished lower levels (a few are coveted walkouts!) are complete with theater or media rooms, kitchenettes, bars, exercise rooms, and storage areas. Homes offer attached 2-3 car side-entry garages for maximum curb appeal.

Residences are serviced by public sewer and public water.

Backyards feature patios and/or composite decks, covered living areas, pergolas or gazebos, fireplaces or fire pits, and water features.

Homesites range from 0.47 to 1 acre, with many offering wooded backyards.

There are three direct entrances into the community: Hudson Park Dr off of Middleton Rd and Hudson Aurora Rd, and Parkside Dr off of Stow Road. Each is flanked by a lovely landscaped bed with masonry community signage walls.

This community is also accessible through Leeway Acres to the west via Leeway Dr and Woodacre Dr.

Hudson Park Estates comprises the streets of Arborwood Dr, Blue Heron Dr, Carriage House Ct, Cedarwood Ct, Foxden Dr, Hudson Park Dr, Lakedge Ct, Olde Farm Ln, Oxgate Ct, Parkside Dr, Woodspring Ln, two homes on Woodacre Dr, and homes along the perimeter of the community on Middleton Rd, Stow Rd, and Hudson Aurora Rd.

The majority of this community lacks curbs or sidewalks. There are, however, sidewalks on one side of the street along the southern portion of Hudson Park Dr.

Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Hudson Park Estates are approximately $675 annually.

Bordering this community to the northwest is Cambridge Woods, and to the southwest is Woods of Western Reserve.

The subdivision of Hudson Park Estates is located in northeast Hudson, Ohio (Summit County) between Middleton, Stow, and Hudson Aurora Roads, and just north of I-80/OH-Turnpike.

Highways are accessible in 8 min to I-80/Turnpike, 9 min to I-480, 13 min to I-271.

This neighborhood is served by the nationally acclaimed Hudson City School District. It is in proximity to Hudson High School, Middle School, and Ellsworth Hill Elementary (all within a 6 min drive; some are walkable), as well as other local private schools, so transporting the kids to school will be a breeze.

Private schools serving the community include Western Reserve Academy (grades 9-12), Seton Catholic School (K-8), and Hudson Montessori School (preschool-8th grade) — each located in Hudson; Old Trail School (preschool-8th grade) in Fairlawn; and Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (grades 7-12) in Cuyahoga Falls.

About 6 min away is Hudson Springs Park with 260 acres, a 50-acre stocked lake for fishing or boating, 2.2 miles of shaded trails encircling the water, picnic pavilions, a disk golf course, horseshoe courts, volleyball courts, bocce ball court, and a playground.

You are 10 min from Summit Bike and Hike Trail (Silver Springs Lot Trailhead), which offers 34 miles past the Cuyahoga Valley National Forest and through Summit, Cuyahoga and Portage counties.

The 33,000-acre Cuyahoga Valley National Park is just 12 min away, which includes the Cuyahoga River and numerous waterfalls, the 87-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.

Golfers are only 10 min from the city-owned golf club, Ellsworth Meadows. If you’re looking for social membership and golf, you’re 5 min to Hudson Country Club and 10 min to Lake Forest Country Club.

Boston Mills and Brandywine Ski Resorts are an 18 min drive for skiing and tubing during the winter months.
