About Crystal Creek in Strongsville
Crystal Creek is a community in Strongsville, Ohio with roughly 170 single-family homes around the corner from the retail district with walkability to the Elementary and High Schools.
Crystal Creek is located west of Pearl Rd, off Royalton Rd and Lunn Rd. The subdivision comprises the streets of Crystal Creek Dr, Overland Park Dr, Ranchwood Dr, Shenandoah Rdg*, Trapper Trl, Trotwood Pk, and Winding Trl.


Most homes were constructed between 1988-1994 by builders including Colabianchi, Emerald Homes, Fragapane Construction, Perram Bros Construction, and Southpointe Homes. These ranch, 1.5-story and 2-story homes mainly range from 2,600-4,400 square feet with 3-4 bedrooms and 2-3.5 bathrooms.
*Homes on Shenandoah Ridge are sometimes referred to as the Emerald Woods subdivision. Shenandoah Ridge homes were the final homes constructed in the development (2003-2006 and 2014), mainly by Emerald Homes Inc/Christopher Development Corp. These 2-story homes (pictured below) range from 3,200-4,900 square feet with 4-5 bedrooms and 3-4.5 bathrooms.




Facades feature traditional or Tudor styling constructed with vinyl or partial/full brick.
Inside, homes are appointed with hardwood or LVP flooring, first-floor laundry rooms with cabinets and utility tubs, private dens with glass-paned french doors and/or formal living rooms, formal dining rooms with tray ceilings and trimwork, and fireplaced great rooms (some are vaulted) that open to kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, center islands (some have breakfast bars), pantry, and dinette area. Owner’s suites (most are second floor) have vaulted ceilings, walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms with dual sinks, soaking/jetted tubs and/or walk-in showers. Second floors may have lofts. Finished lower levels may have bars, media rooms, and exercise rooms.
Attached front or side-entry garages (most are front-entry) accommodate 2-3 cars.
Backyards may include custom patios and/or decks and fire pits. Some backyards are treed.
Lots measure approximately 75-85′ wide and mainly range from 0.29 to 0.33 acres. There are also some larger lots up to 0.64 acres and two with 2.51 and 2.61 acres.
Yellow parcels within the red border on the above map are community common areas. Yellow areas outside the red border belong to the adjacent condo community of Settler’s Village.
⚠️A small stream flows around the eastern side of the community, and Baker Creek flows near the southwest corner (solid and dashed blue lines on map above). Properties adjacent to Baker Creek may have designated floodways/flood hazards. View FEMA Flood Map.


This community has two entrances: from Royalton Rd via Crystal Creek Dr and from Lunn Rd via Ranchwood Dr. The main entrance of Crystal Creek Dr is ornamented by brick signage with landscaping.
It is also accessible through the adjoining subdivision of Strongsville Heights via Temple Dr from Pearl Rd.
Crystal Creek streets and enhanced with street trees, curbs, and sidewalks.
Winding Trl has one corner cul-de-sac and two full cul-de-sacs.
Residences are served by Strongsville City School District. The Early Learning Preschool and High School are on the opposite side of Lunn Rd.
NOTE: All streets in this neighborhood are non-bussing streets to Strongsville High School, which is a ≤20 min walk or ≤6 min bike. All streets excluding Shenandoah Ridge are non-bussing streets to Muraski Elementary, which is a ≤20 min walk or ≤5 min bike.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Crystal Creek are approximately $75 annually.
The northwest section of the community adjoins Abigail Estates.
The southwest end borders Orchard Hill.

Highways are accessible in 8 min to I-71 and 11 min to I-80/Turnpike.

The Strongsville Recreation and Senior Center is 6 min away, offering residents a pool, sauna, steam room and whirlpool, massage therapy, ball courts, indoor elevated track, weight and exercise room, and game area with pool tables, ping pong, video games, air hockey and more.
As for parks, Strongsville has nine city parks with ball courts/fields, playgrounds, picnic areas, pavilions, and trails.
There’s also Mill Stream Run Reservation 7 min away, part of Cleveland Metroparks, where visitors can engage in hiking, horseback riding, archery, ziplining, axe throwing, and tobogganing at The Chalet on the tallest, fastest toboggan ice chutes in Ohio.
