Whispering Meadows is an established community of 68 homes in North Royalton, Ohio, located off the south side of Wallings Rd, 0.8 miles east of State Rd. This subdivision comprises the streets of Red Oak N, Red Oak S, Thorn Tree Dr, nine homes on the west end of Meadow Ln (house numbers 3192-3233), and most homes on Forestwood Ln (house numbers 10152-10312).
These homes were built from 1995-2018. Most homes were constructed by Callas Builders, with the final few lots developed by Drees Homes.
Facades are styled with Colonial Revival, Modern Farmhouse and Transitional architecture, constructed with full brick or brick/stone accents.
These ranch and two-story homes range from 3,000-5,700 square feet with 3–5 bedrooms and 2.5–4.5 bathrooms.
Homes are appointed with hardwood or LVP flooring, first-floor laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, two-story foyers, formal dining rooms with tray ceilings, formal living rooms and/or private dens with glass-paned french doors, and large fireplaced great rooms (some vaulted or two-story) that open to kitchens featuring quartz or granite countertops, a breakfast bar, tile backsplash, pantry, and dinette area. First or second-floor owner’s suites include vaulted ceilings, walk-in closets, and en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers, soaking/jetted tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Second floors have lofts or bonus rooms. Finished lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!) may include media rooms, billiard areas, bars, and exercise rooms.
Attached front or side-entry garages accommodate 2-3 cars.
Backyards are appointed with custom patios and/or decks for outdoor living.
In-ground swimming pools, fences and playsets are permitted.
Lots have varied land cover, ranging from fully cleared to those with lightly treed or partly wooded backyards, particularly along the west end of Forestwood Ln.
Lots measure approximately 100′ wide and are sized from 0.39 to 0.90 acres. There is also one home with 2.49 acres.
Directly south of the Red Oak S cul-de-sac is a 2.6-acre common area parcel with a retention pond owned by the HOA (yellow plot on above map).

🛢️NOTE: Parcels of land surrounding this development have natural gas and oil wells (red dots on map above). They are located directly below the HOA common area and near the northeast corner of this subdivision. Due to visual encumbrance or concerns regarding health and safety, proximity to gas and oil wells can negatively impact home values. Residents in this community may receive monthly payments for mineral rights that are transferable to new owners.
N Red Oak and S Red Oak have permanent cul-de-sacs.
Streets are lined with curbs and sidewalks.
The developer owns plots of vacant land to the south. Forestwood Ln has a temporary turnaround. The street may be extended with future development opportunities.
This neighborhood is connected to the subdivision of Foxwood Estates (to the east), which has its own entrance off Wallings Rd.
Residences are served by the highly-rated North Royalton City School District.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Whispering Meadows are approximately $180 annually.

Whispering Meadows subdivision is located in northwestern North Royalton, Ohio, near the border of Broadview Heights, off the south side of Wallings Rd, 0.8 miles east of State Rd.
I-77 is conveniently just an 8 min drive east.
Conveniently located 0.8 miles west at the intersection of Wallings and State Roads is a Drug Mart, Hop Hing Chinese takeout, Blue Monkey Brewing Company, Cleats Sports Bar, Joe D’s Beverage, Marco’s Pizza, and Sunoco gas station.
The North Royalton YMCA is a 3 min drive, featuring a gymnasium with premium free-weights and exercise equipment, cycling studio, yoga studio, an elevated 1/12 mile track, a two-court basketball gymnasium, aquatics center, and an outdoor playground.
As for parks, Brecksville Reservation, the largest of the 18 Cleveland Metroparks reservations, offering excellent trails with scenic gorges and waterfalls, is 13 min east. The Metroparks Mill Stream Run Reservation is 14 min away with trails, rope courses and zip lines, and two toboggan chutes. Cuyahoga Valley National Park is 18 min away, offering 33,000-acres with hiking trails, bike paths, a scenic railroad, and a vast array of flora & fauna.
If you’re a golfer, it’s only 9 min to Seneca, 11 min to Briarwood, 12 min to Hinckley Hills and Ironwood, 13 min to Valleaire and Sleepy Hollow, and 15 min to Pine Hills.
