Sterling Point is an upscale community of single-family and detached cluster homes in Strongsville, Ohio with a neighborhood playground and tennis court. This subdivision is located at the northeast corner of Prospect Rd and Lunn Rd, conveniently walkable to the High School and only minutes to the retail district.

Single-family homes comprise the streets of Britannia Ct, Castle Dr, Regency Dr, Sterling Way, Stratford Cir, Windsor Castle Ln, and the west end of Sterling Way (house numbers 20638-20903).

The 72 single-family homes of Sterling Point were custom built between 1987-1997 by Don-Pre Development Corp/Stonecrest Homes (headed by Donald P. Prebis).

These homes are two-story styles ranging from 3,400-9,000 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 3-4+ bathrooms.

Facades feature contemporary, traditional and Tudor styles constructed with full/partial brick.

Inside, Sterling Point homes are appointed with hardwood or LVP flooring, solid wood interior doors, elegant millwork, first-floor laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, dramatic two-story foyers with curved staircases, private dens with built-ins and/or wood wall paneling, formal living rooms, formal dining rooms with tray ceilings, and fireplaced great rooms (some have wet bars and vaulted or wood-beamed ceilings) that open to kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops (some have breakfast bars), a pantry, dinette area, and even sunrooms. First or second-floor owner’s suites have vaulted or tray ceilings, walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms with dual sinks, soaking/jetted tubs and/or walk-in showers. Finished lower levels (some are coveted walkouts!) have bars, media rooms, billiard areas, and exercise rooms.

Attached front or side-entry garages accommodate 2.5-4 cars.

Backyard oases are complete with custom patios and/or decks, gazebos and fire pits. Most backyards are treed, offering shade, privacy and the soothing sounds of birdsong.

Lots measure approximately 90′ to 100′ wide and range from 0.26 to 0.59 acres.

Numerous homes abut HOA-owned common space (yellow areas on illustrated map above) totaling 8.84 acres, much of it wooded.

In the center of the community is the park area, which has a tennis court, playground, and paved walking trails (dashed green lines on above-illustrated map). Entrances to the walking trails are off Sterling Way, Stratford Cir, and Windsor Castle Ln.

⚠️A small stream flows around the Windsor Castle Ln cul-de-sac and into the park area. Baker Creek meanders near the north end of the community (solid blue line on map above), enhancing the natural setting and offering ravined topography. Sterling Point‘s entrance streets include Castle Dr off Prospect Rd and Regency Dr off Lunn Rd. The main entrance on Regency Dr is flanked by landscaped beds with stately brick signage walls topped by a patinaed lamp post with triple-headed acorn-style lanterns. 

Sterling Point is also accessible through the adjoining community of Orchard Hill from Lunn Rd.

Streets are enhanced with lantern-style streetlights, street trees, curbs, and sidewalks.

Britannia Ct, Regency Dr, Sterling Way, Stratford Cir, Windsor Castle Ln, and Sterling Way have cul-de-sacs.

Residences are served by Strongsville City School District. The Early Learning Preschool is conveniently 0.6 miles east on Lunn Rd.

NOTE: All streets in this neighborhood are non-bussing streets to Strongsville High School, which is a ≤15 min walk or ≤6 min bike. Britannia Ct, Windsor Castle Ln, and Sterling Way are non-bussing streets to Muraski Elementary, a ≤15 min walk or ≤6 min bike.

Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Sterling Point are approximately $350 annually.
