About Schneider Reserve in Strongsville

Schneider Reserve (aka The Woods at Schneider Reserve) is a lovely development of single-family and limited-maintenance detached cluster homes in Strongsville, Ohio.

This subdivision is located off the south side of Whitney Road, 0.4 miles west of Webster Road. It comprises the streets of Durian Cir, Eldorado Trl, Ellis Way, Kenilworth Dr, Rainier Ct, Sagamore Cir, Tahoe Cir, and most of N Bexley Dr (house numbers 9497-9565).

These homes were built exclusively by Pulte Homes from 2006-2013.

Schneider Reserve is divided into two sections: the cluster community to the north, and single-family homes to the south, as described in the sections below.

Limited-Maintenance Cluster Homes:

The north section of the community consists of 48 freestanding limited-maintenance cluster homes, comprising the streets of Eldorado Trl, Rainier Ct, and Tahoe Cir.

These detached cluster homes were constructed between 2006-2010.

They include ranch, 1.5-story and 2-story designs ranging from 1,900-4,600 square feet, with 2-4 bedrooms, 2.5-4 bathrooms, and full basements.

Desirable interior amenities include hardwood or LVP flooring, two-story foyers, flex rooms (den, playroom or sitting room), formal dining room/area, and fireplaced great rooms with vaulted ceilings that are open to kitchens with quartz or granite countertops, a breakfast bar, walk-in pantry, dinette area, and even a sunroom. Owner’s suites (most are on the first floor) feature sitting areas, walk-in closets, and en-suite bathrooms with dual sinks, soaking/jetted tubs, and walk-in showers. Second floors may have lofts. Full finished lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!) with 9′ ceilings may include media rooms, bars and workout rooms.

Attached front-entry garages accommodate 2 cars.

Outdoor living is enhanced with composite decks and/or patios.

Lots measure approximately 54′ wide and range from 0.14 to 0.30 acres.

Premium homesites are situated around cul-de-sacs or abutting common space, extending views of ponds, meadows or trees.

Cluster home streets are lined with lantern-style streetlights, trees, curbs and sidewalks on both sides of the street. Cul-de-sacs are enhanced with landscaped islands and parking pads for guests’ cars.

Post for cluster homes is delivered to double mailboxes placed between every other driveway.

Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees for the cluster community are approximately $511 yearly, plus $97 monthly (includes snow removal, lawn mowing, and front landscaping).

Single-Family Homes:

The southern section of the community comprises 72 single-family homes along the streets of Durian Cir, Ellis Way, Kenilworth Dr, Sagamore Cir, and N Bexley Dr (house numbers 9497-9565).

These homes were constructed between 2010-2013.

Single-family homes include ranch, 1.5-story and 2-story designs ranging from 2,700-5,700 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-4.5 bathrooms.

These homes offer desirable amenities including hardwood or LVP flooring, two-story foyers, flex rooms (den, studio, playroom, sitting room), formal dining room with tray ceiling, and fireplaced great rooms (some have vaulted or two-story ceilings) that are open to kitchens with granite or quartz countertops, a breakfast bar, walk-in pantry, dinette area/morning room, and even a butler’s pantry and/or sunroom (certain floorplans). Owner’s suites feature trayed or vaulted ceilings, sitting areas, walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms with dual sinks, soaking/jetted tubs, walk-in showers, and enclosed commodes. First or second-floor laundry rooms. Second-floor lofts. Full finished lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!) have 9′ ceilings and may include media rooms, bars and workout rooms.

Backyards are equipped with composite decks and/or patios for outdoor living.

Single-family lots measure approximately 80′ wide by 140′ to 150′ deep and range from 0.26 to 0.48 acres.

Premium homesites include cul-de-sac lots and those backing to common space, offering treed or meadowed views.

Streets are lined with trees, curbs and sidewalks on both sides of the street.

The west end of N Bexley Dr adjoins the community of Huntington Park Estates.

Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees for single-family homes are approximately $511 annually.


Schneider Reserve entrance on Kenilworth Dr

There is one direct entrance to Schneider Reserve via Kenilworth Dr. The entrance to Kenilworth Dr has a landscaped divided median flanked by landscaped beds and masonry signage. White three-rail ranch-style fencing borders the front of the community and continues into the community.

This subdivision is also accessible through Huntington Park Estates from Whitney Rd, Webster Rd, and Albion Rd.

The development includes 16.44 acres of HOA-owned common space (yellow areas within the blue border on above-illustrated map).

The residential subdivision of Schneider Reserve (also called The Woods at Schneider Reserve) is located in northeast Strongsville, off the south side of Whitney Road, 0.4 miles west of Webster Road.

To the west, it leads through Mill Stream Run Reservation all the way to Rocky River Reservation. 

The Cleveland Metroparks’ Mill Stream Run Reservation is 5 min away, where visitors can engage in hiking, horseback riding, archery, ziplining, axe throwing, and tobogganing.

If you’re a golfer, it’s just 14 min to Pine Hills 15 min to Royal Crest, 16 min to Valleaire, and 17 min to Briarwood.
