Oakridge Estates Subd #9 (aka Oakridge Estates 09), comprising Hunting Drive and the stub street of Thames Drive, is an upscale section of 43 homes within Oakridge Estates of North Royalton, Ohio.

The homes of Oakridge Estates Subd #9/Oakridge Estates 09 are located along the eastern edge of the community. They are accessible from State Rd through Oakridge Estates, from W Sprague Rd through Royalton Woods (aka Perlbrook Subdivision), or from Wallings Rd via Vista Drive or through Royal Valley.

These homes were built by Sherwood Construction from 1993-2004. This was the final phase of development (Phase 9) in Oakridge Estates.

You won’t find any basic vinyl facades here! Homes feature stately front elevations of partial/full brick or Tudor styles. 

These 1.5 and 2-story homes range from 2,200-4,800 square feet with 3-4 bedrooms and 2.5-4 bathrooms.

Inside, amenities generally include hardwood or LVP flooring, first-floor laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, two-story foyers, formal dining rooms with tray ceilings, formal living rooms or private dens, and large fireplaced great rooms (some are vaulted) that open to kitchens featuring quartz or granite countertops, tile backsplash, and dinette area or morning room. Vaulted owner’s suites include walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers, soaking/jetted tubs, and dual sinks/vanities. Finished lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!) may include media rooms, billiard areas, bars, and exercise rooms.

Attached side-entry garages enhance curb appeal and accommodate 2-3 cars.

Outdoor living is enjoyed on decks and/or patios.

Lots are approximately 106′ wide and primarily sized at 0.39 acres, but there are some larger cul-de-sac lots up to 0.53 acres.

Some lots, mainly along the south end of Hunting Dr, have treed or wooded backyards.

Hunting Dr has permanent cul-de-sacs at each end; Thames Dr is a dead-end street with four homes (4602, 4603, 4612 & 4613 Thames Dr).

🏊 Residents are eligible to join the members-only Oakridge Pool, which is a 4-min drive to the parking lot, or an 8-min bike via the pedestrian footpath (between house numbers 8088 & 8100 Maplegrove Ave). Oakridge Pool is heated and includes a slide, diving board, hot tub, community building, and playground.

Residences are served by the highly-rated North Royalton City School District.

There are no Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees.
