Misty Oakes is a quiet, single-street community of 21 homes in Broadview Heights, Ohio, conveniently around the corner from the Rec Center, splash Pad, and the Elementary School and Preschool. This subdivision is located 0.1 miles east of Avery Rd, off the north side of Oakes Rd, comprising Misty Oakes Dr and four homes on Oakes Rd (house numbers 2001, 2075, 2151 & 2213).
Homes were custom-built from 1987-1993.
Facades feature various traditional designs including Tudor, full brick, and vinyl.
These colonial and ranch homes range from 2,700-5,100 square feet with 3–5 bedrooms and 2.5–3.5 bathrooms.

Homesites offer lightly treed or wooded backyards and are generously sized, ranging from 0.46 to 0.65 acres. There is also one home on 0.80 acres.
A tributary stream of Chippewa Creek runs along the eastern end of the community, enhancing the natural setting with ravined topography.
🛢️There is a natural gas and oil well (orange dot on map above) on a neighboring property to the east. Due to health and safety concerns, proximity to gas and oil wells can negatively impact home values. On the flip side, surrounding residents can often yield reduced property tax values through the board of revisions.
The entrance to Misty Oakes Dr has a divided median with landscaping and brick pavers.
As a single-street community that is not connected to another subdivision, traffic is limited to residents and their guests.
Misty Oakes Dr has street trees, curbs, and sidewalks on both sides of the street.
There are no Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Misty Oakes.
Residences are served by the award-winning Brecksville-Broadview Heights City School District.

The subdivision of Misty Oakes is located along the border of Brecksville in eastern Broadview Heights, Ohio, off the north side of Oakes Rd, 0.1 miles east of Avery Rd.
Highways are accessible in 4 min to I-77 and 10 min to I-80/Turnpike and I-480.
You are a 4 min drive from downtown Broadview Heights for quick access to local dining and retail.
The city’s Rec Center is only 0.8 miles/2 min drive, which includes an indoor track, fitness & spinning room, pool, gymnasium, childcare, rentable rooms, skate park, tennis and pickleball courts, baseball and soccer fields, playground, and splash pad.
Exercise enthusiasts will appreciate being a 7 min bike (1.3 miles) from Metroparks’ Valley Parkway Connector Trail. Heading east, the trail connects to Brecksville Reservation and the 81-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail. To the west, it leads through Mill Stream Run Reservation all the way to Rocky River Reservation. Brecksville Reservation is only 5 min east. It is the largest of the Cleveland Metroparks reservations, offering excellent trails with scenic gorges and waterfalls. Cuyahoga Valley National Park is only 10 minutes away, offering 33,000-acres with hiking trails, bike paths, a scenic railroad, and a vast array of flora & fauna.
If you’re a golfer, you are only 4 min to Seneca, 5 min to Sleepy Hollow, and 6 min to Briarwood.
