Willow Creek is a community of 163 single-family homes in northeastern Avon, Ohio with forested greenspace next to Avon Oaks Country Club.

Willow Creek comprises two unconnected subdivisions off the south side of Avon Road, 0.5 and 0.7 miles east of Nagel Rd. The main subdivision includes the residential streets of Elm Ct, Elm Dr, East Ash Dr, West Ash Dr, Pine Ct, Pine Dr, and Walnut Dr. The smaller section of 29 homes encompasses the circular street of Peach Dr.

Oster Homes (now K. Hovnanian Homes) built this subdivision between 2003 and 2008.

Most homes are 1.5-story or 2-story, but there are a few ranches (1-story). Homes range from 1,800-3,500 above-grade square feet with 3-4 bedrooms and 2.5-4 bathrooms. Including finished basements, these homes can total 5,200+ square feet.

Facades are traditionally styled, showcasing Colonial Revival, Modern Farmhouse, and Transitional architecture designed with horizontal vinyl siding and contrasting window shutters, some accented with brick/stone.

First floor amenities and principal rooms include 9′ first floor ceilings, hardwood or LVP floors, two-story foyers, formal dining rooms, formal living rooms and/or private dens, and fireplaced great rooms (some are vaulted) that open to kitchens with quartz/granite countertops, a breakfast bar, food pantry, dinette or morning room, and even a sunroom.

First or second floor owner’s suites feature a walk-in closet and ensuite bathroom with dual sinks, a soaking/jetted tub, and walk-in shower.

Full finished basements present additional space for recreation and may include theater rooms, billiard areas, bars and gyms.

Front-load garages accommodate 2-3 cars.

Backyards are complete with custom patios, fire pits, and even covered living areas.

Backyard fences, pools and sheds are permitted.

Lots measure approximately 70′ wide and primarily range from 0.21 to 0.46 acres. There are also a couple of larger lots up to 0.71 acres.

Homesites may be cleared or have treed or wooded backyards.

This picturesque community boasts 35.9 acres of heavily wooded HOA-owned greenspace (yellow parcels on illustrated map above), attracting songbirds and offering privacy, lush natural beauty, and shade for abutting homes. A large fountained pond sits just northeast of Elm Dr.

Porter Creek meanders near the backyards of homes along the south end of Peach Dr. However, it does not impose any Special Flood Hazards.

Bordering the eastern end of Willow Creek (east side of Elm Dr and Peach Dr) is Avon Oaks Country Club, much of which is surrounded by a treeline.

Streets are enhanced by lantern-style streetlights, flowering street trees, curbs and sidewalks.

Matching double mailboxes (2 boxes per post) are placed at every other driveway, bringing continuity to the streetscape.

Elm Ct and Pine Ct are eyebrow (aka knuckle) cul-de-sacs.

A stub street off the west side of Pine Dr could be extended with future development opportunities.

Homeowners’ Association (HOA) fees at Willow Creek are approximately $330 annually.
