About Willow Creek in Avon
Willow Creek in northeastern Avon Ohio is a single-family home community adjacent to Avon Oaks Country Club with forested greenspace. Oster Homes (now K. Hovnanian Homes) built this subdivision between 2003 and 2008.
Willow Creek comprises 163 homes across two unconnected subdivisions off the south side of Avon Road.
Most homes are cape cod or colonial, but there are a few ranches. Homes range from 1,800-4,400+ square feet with 3–4 bedrooms and 2.5–4 bathrooms.
Facades are traditionally styled with horizontal vinyl siding and contrasting window shutters, some with brick accents.
Interior amenities include 9′ first floor ceilings, hardwood floors, double-hung trimmed windows, dramatic two-story foyers, formal dining rooms, formal living rooms and/or private dens, and fireplaced great rooms (some are vaulted) that open to kitchens with quartz/granite countertops, a breakfast bar, food pantry, dinette or morning room, and even sunrooms. First or second floor owner’s suites offer walk-in closets and private bathrooms with dual sinks, a soaking/jetted tub, and walk-in shower. Full finished basements present additional space for recreation and may include theater rooms, billiard rooms, bars and gyms. Front-load garages accommodate 2 cars. Backyards are complete with custom patios, fire pits, and even covered living areas.
Homesites measure approximately 70′ wide and mainly range from 0.21 to 0.46 acres. There are also a couple of larger lots up to 0.71 acres. A few lots have treed backyards.
This picturesque community boasts 35.9 acres of heavily wooded HOA-owned greenspace (yellow parcels on map), attracting songbirds and offering privacy, lush natural beauty, and shade for abutting homes. A large fountained pond sits just northeast of Elm Dr.
Porter Creek meanders near the backyards of homes along the south end of Peach Dr.
Bordering the eastern end of Willow Creek (east side of Elm Dr and Peach Dr) is Avon Oaks Country Club, much of which is surrounded by a treeline.
All streets are enhanced by lantern-style streetlights, street trees, curbs and sidewalks.
Matching double mailboxes (2 boxes per post) are placed at every other driveway, bringing continuity to the streetscape.
This development allows fences, pools and sheds.
Homeowners’ Association (HOA) fees at Willow Creek are approximately $220 annually.
