Wyndemere Estates is a community of 114 single-family homes in southeast Avon, Ohio, conveniently walkable to the nature trails of Avon Wetlands.

This subdivision is located off the east side of Center Rd, 1.2 miles south of Detroit Rd. It comprises the residential streets of Bramblewood Way, Edgemere Way, Lenox Oval, Tiffany Court, Whispering Point, Wyndemere Way, the west end of Livingston Drive (house numbers 35295-35602), and most of Waterford Way (house numbers 3246-3314).

These homes were built in three phases between 1991-2003 by builders including Andreano Building, Bennett Quality Homes, Galik Building, Halle Homes, Nora Development, Schnaufer Homes, and Webbs Construction.

Wyndemere Estates includes ranch, cape cod and two-story homes ranging from 2,000-3,000 above-grade square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-4.5 bathrooms. Including finished basements, these homes can total 4,100 square feet.

Facades feature Colonial Revival and Transitional architecture, mainly styled with horizontal siding and window shutters. Some facades have brick or stone accents.

First floor amenities generally include front-entry foyers (some are two-story), formal dining rooms, formal living rooms and/or private dens, and a fireplaced great room that open to the kitchen featuring quartz/granite countertops, a center island, pantry, dinette, and even a sunroom or screened porch.

First or second floor owner’s suites are appointed with vaulted or tray ceilings, a walk-in closet, and ensuite bathrooms with dual sinks/vanities, a soaking/jetted tub, and a walk-in shower.

Finished basements may include theater rooms, bars, kitchenettes, and excercise rooms.

Front or side-entry garages accommodate 2-3 cars.

Outdoor living is enjoyed on decks and/or patios.

Backyards may be cleared or treed.

Backyard fences, sheds, gardens, playsets, and in-ground/above-ground pools are permitted.

Lots measure approximately 100′ wide and primarily range from 0.34 to 0.53 acres. There are also a few larger lots up to 1.06 acres.

The east ends of Lenox Oval and Tiffany Court abut 4.54 acres of HOA-owned common space (yellow parcel within the red boundary on above-illustrated map).

The entrance to Wyndemere Estates is designated by a brick signage wall with white picket fencing.

Its streets are enhanced by street trees, lantern-style streetlights, curbs, and sidewalks.

Bramblewood Way, Edgemere Way, Lenox Oval, Tiffany Court and Whispering Point have cul-de-sacs with landscaped islands.

To the east, Livingston Drive becomes Kensington Park. To the north Waterford Way adjoins Waterford Estates.

Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Wyndemere Estates are approximately $100 annually.

The southwest end of this development is bordered by Greenview Estates.

Wyndemere Estates is located in southeast Avon, Ohio, off the east side of Center Rd, 1.2 miles south of Detroit Rd. This section of Avon is surrounded by golf courses and pastures, tucked away from the bustle of retail and interstate congestion.

I-90 access is 6 min away for easy commuting or date nights downtown Cleveland.

Roughly 800′ east of this subdivision, at the end of Livingston Drive is access to the nature trails of Avon Wetlands, with over 1 mile of crushed stone trails that meander through open wetlands. You are a 4 min drive to Miller Nature Preserve, which offers nature lovers hiking trails, a seasonal butterfly house, and a 5,000-square-foot conservatory. Avon Aquatic Facility & Park is ≤7 min, which includes an outdoor Olympic-sized competitive lap pool with diving boards and a recreation pool with slides, interactive play structure, wading area, a sprayground, pavilion, and bathhouse. The adjacent 20-acre park features a spectacular playground with unique play structures, a storybook trail, history walk, fitness court, and walking trails. Schwartz Road Park (5 min) has ball fields/courts, pavilions and a nature trail. Veterans Memorial Park has 98 acres including walking trails, ponds, ball fields/courts, a playground, restrooms, and two pavilions with picnic tables and grills. The park is also home to the annual Avon Heritage Duct Tape Festival.

There’s also the French Creek YMCA, a state-of-the-art, 6,000+ square-foot facility featuring an eight-lane indoor pool, aerobics studio, family gym, sauna, whirlpool, wellness center and child-care center.

Catch a minor league baseball game at Avon’s Crushers Stadium, home of the Lake Erie Crushers. On rainy days, you’ll find indoor entertainment for the whole family at Main Event, offering state-of-the-art bowling; more than 110 of the hottest interactive and video games; multi-level laser tag; regulation billiards and relaxing shuffleboard; and a bar & restaurant.

Golfers have several courses within 15 min: Bob-O-Link, Sweetbriar, Hilliard Lakes, and Valley of the Eagles Golf Club.
