About Centennial Village in Avon
Centennial Village is a single-street community of 23 homes encircling a private park. Prime location off Detroit Rd in the heart of Avon’s French Creek District, across from Avon High School, and minutes from the retail district.
Homes were constructed by Brady between 2002-2004 and offer 2,300-3,600 square feet with 3-4 bedrooms and 2.5-3.5 bathrooms.
Facades are near identically styled in shades of tan or cream with horizontal and shake siding, white fascia trim, and windows with white trim and grid lines, creating a homogeneous streetscape similar to cluster home communities.
Extended front porches with room for seating overlook the scenic central greenspace — a 1.15-acre private park offering treed views, a gazebo and picnic tables. In lieu of streetside sidewalks are paved walking trails through the park.
Centennial Village’s floorplans are appointed with 9′ first floor ceilings, hardwood floors, side-by-side capacity first-floor laundry rooms, private dens or formal living rooms, formal dining rooms, kitchens with breakfast bars and dinette or vaulted morning room, great rooms, lofts, and finished basements. Owner’s suites may feature tray or vaulted ceilings and fireplaces as well as en-suite bathrooms with dual sinks, soaking tubs and walk-in showers. Front-entry garages accommodate 2 cars. Backyards are complete with composite decks and/or stamped patios for entertaining.
Homesites range from 0.19 to 0.36 acres, some with treed backyards.
Several homes abut additional HOA-owned greenspace parcels (yellow areas along the red border on map above).
The entrance to N Hayes St is off the west side of Detroit Rd, just south of Frech Creek Rd. It is decorated by landscape beds, community signage, and a divided median with ornamental trees.
With only one entrance and no connection to another subdivision, traffic along N Hayes St is limited to residents and their guests.
Parking pads around the center island provide additional space for guests’ cars.
All mailboxes are the same color and design, adding to a consistent streetscape.
Centennial Village allows for fences, pools, and sheds.
Homeowners’ Association (HOA) fees at Centennial Village are approximately $750 annually.

The subdivision of Centennial Village is located in Avon Ohio’s French Creek District, off the west side OH-254/Detroit Rd, 0.2 miles south of French Creek Rd.
It is less than 10 minutes from Interstate 90, via either the OH-254/Detroit Rd or OH-83/Center Road interchange; 15 min from I-80/Turnpike.
Avon High School is across the street (7 min walk). The other top-rated Avon Local Schools are all nearby: 3 min to High School, 4 min to Middle School, 5 min to Early Learning Center, 8 min to Heritage Elementary, and 10 min to East Elementary.
There are many nearby opportunities for activity and enjoyment. Miller Nature Preserve has hiking trails, a seasonal butterfly house, and a 5,000-square-foot conservatory featuring orchids and various plant specimens from around the world. There’s also a visitor center with a gift shop, café, event hall, and an outdoor patio that hosts weekly music events during summertime. Come winter, the community center hosts art, cooking and card-making classes.
