This community of 144 colonial homes was built by Ryan Homes between 2003 and 2015.

In addition to the aforementioned park trail, there are also sidewalks on both sides of the street so there’s plenty of pavement to bike, skate or walk the dog.
Common areas are beautifully manicured and streets are lined with tree saplings, curbs and lantern-style streetlights.
Unlike many newer communities with cluster box units, homes in Amberwood have their own mailbox at the end of the driveway.
Amberwood has two stunning entrances: Brookview Dr off French Creek Rd; and Courseview Dr off Moon Rd. The community also encompasses the streets of Amberwood Dr, Woodfield Ct, Ambridge Ln, Waverly Dr, Fairwood Cir, Clearbrook Dr, Curlwood Ct, Coldstream Ct, and Meadowbrook Ct.
Amberwood is connected to the neighboring subdivision of Avondale via Avondale Dr and Crosscreek Dr.
Other nearby Avon communities include Arlington Place, McIntosh Farms and Orchard Trail off Moon Rd, and Fairfield Estates and Stonebridge Creek off French Creek Rd.
Amberwood Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees are approximately $500 annually.

Amberwood is located in western Avon, Ohio, nestled in the southeast corner of Moon and French Creek Roads.
I-90 is 10 minutes north.

For nearby recreation, there’s Veterans Memorial Park with 98 acres including walking trails, ponds, ball fields/courts, a playground, restrooms, and two pavilions with picnic tables and grills. The park is also home to the annual Avon Heritage Duct Tape Festival.
There’s also the French Creek YMCA, a state-of-the-art, 66,000+ square-foot facility featuring an eight-lane indoor pool, aerobics studio, family gym, sauna, whirlpool, wellness center and child-care center.
If you’re a golfer, there are a number of courses nearby: 10 min to Bob-O-Link and Valley of the Eagles Golf Club, 14 min to Sweetbriar and Cherry Ridge Golf Course, and 18 min to Hilliard Lakes.
There are also a number of private clubs in the vicinity: 14 min to Red Tail Golf Club and Avon Oaks Country Club, and 17 min to Lakewood Country Club.
A day at Lake Erie’s Huntington Beach is only 22 minutes away!
As far as entertainment, there are plenty of options. Catch a minor league baseball game at Avon’s Crushers Stadium, home of the Lake Erie Crushers.
