About Bentley Park in Avon

Located in the heart of Avon, Ohio, Bentley Park boasts regal entrances, wooded backdrops, a neighborhood elementary school, direct access to the Metro Parks’ Miller Nature Preserve, as well as proximity to I-90, shopping and dining.

Bentley Park is located south of Detroit Rd between Jaycox Rd and Center Rd. Its roughly 300 homes comprise the residential streets of Bentley Dr, Carlton Ct, Ellington Ct, Emory Dr, Ithaca Dr, Kettering Ct, Mueller Dr, Redwick Ct, Seton Dr, Upton Ct, and the north end of Saddle Creek (down to the intersection at Emory Drive).

Homes were constructed exclusively by Pulte Homes in eight phases between 2003-2020. Phases 1-7 were built from 2003-2007. Phase 8 (2458-2534 Seton Dr) was added between 2019-2020.

Most homes showcase Neo-Colonial architecture with prominent brick facades. Phase 8 introduces Transitional styling with brick/stone facades and Modern Farmhouse architecture constructed with mixed-texture siding profiles.

Bentley Park includes 1.5-story and 2-story colonial homes that range from 2,200-3,700 above-grade square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-5.5 bathrooms. Including finished basements, these homes can total 5,400 square feet.

First-floor amenities and principal rooms include hardwood or LVP floors, a two-story foyer, living/flex room and/or private office, formal dining room, and a fireplaced great room (some have vaulted ceilings) that open to the kitchen featuring granite/quartz countertops, a large island, breakfast bar, butler’s pantry (some plans), walk-in pantry, and dinette or morning room.

Laundry rooms are on the main or second floor.

Owner’s suites (most are on the second floor) are appointed with walk-in closet(s) and an ensuite bathroom with dual sinks, a soaking/jetted tub, walk-in shower, and enclosed commode.

Finished basements offer even more living space with rec rooms, bars, theater rooms and/or bathrooms.

Backyards are equipped with decks and/or patios for outdoor enjoyment.

Lots primarily measure 75′ wide and range from 0.22 to 0.33 acres. These lots accommodate 2-car garages, mainly front-entry.

Larger homesites along the north end of Seton Dr (Phase 8) and the southeast end of the development (off Jaycox Rd) are 100′ wide and measure between 0.35 to 0.71 acres. These lots have garages that accommodate 2-3 cars, many of which are side-entry.

Abutting nature preserves (green sections on above map) or greenspace (yellow parcels on above map) may offer pond views or wooded backdrops.

Bentley Park has three community entrances: the main entrance via Bentley Dr off 83/Center Rd, Seton Dr off Detroit Rd, and Emory Dr off Jaycox Rd.

Bentley Park is also accessible through the adjoining community of Arbor Acres via Arbor Dr (to the southwest).

This community has curbs and sidewalks on both sides of the street, so there’s plenty of pavement for biking, skating and walking the dog.

Other than Phase 8 (along the north end of Seton Dr), which utilized mailbox kiosks, post is delivered to double mailbox posts between every other driveway.

Nature lovers will further appreciate direct access to Miller Nature Preserve via Pin Oak Trail (dashed red line off Bentley Dr on map above). The trail meanders through the wooded parkland and intersects additional trails (read more about the park in the ‘Location’ section below).

Imagine your child attending a school located within your subdivision! Heritage South Elementary School is conveniently walkable without leaving the community.

Homeowners’ Association (HOA) fees at Bentley Park are approximately $500 annually.

Bordering this subdivision to the northeast are condo communities and the single-family homes of Palmer Village.

Bentley Park is located in central Avon, south of Detroit Rd between Jaycox and Center Rd.

Just ∼5 minutes from the I-90/Rt 83 interchange, residents enjoy easy commutes to downtown Cleveland or Lorain/Elyria.

In addition to the in-neighborhood elementary school, driving to Avon’s top-rated schools is a breeze: ∼5 mins to the Early Learning Center and East Elementary, and about 10 mins to the Middle School and High School.

There are many nearby opportunities for activity and enjoyment. Nestled along the southwest edge of the community is Miller Nature Preserve. It offers nature lovers hiking trails, a seasonal butterfly house, and a 5,000-square-foot conservatory featuring orchids and various plant specimens from around the world. There’s also a visitor center with a gift shop, café, event hall, and an outdoor patio that hosts weekly music events during summertime. Come winter, the community center hosts art, cooking and card-making classes.

You are 6 min from Avon Aquatic Facility & Park, which includes an Olympic-sized competitive lap pool with diving boards and a recreation pool with slides, interactive play structure, wading area, a sprayground, pavilion, and bathhouse. The adjacent 20-acre park features a spectacular playground with unique play structures, a storybook trail, history walk, fitness court, and walking trails.
