McIntosh Farms is a community of roughly 63 single-family homes located in southwest Avon, Ohio, off the west side of Moon Rd, between Detroit Rd and French Creek Rd. This subdvisiion comprises the streets of McIntosh Pl, Orrs Orchard, Winesap Trl, and two homes (house numbers 3162 & 3166) on Woodland Trl.
Homes were built exclusively by Drees Homes between 2018 and 2021.


Homes have an array of distinctive elevations including contemporary cottage, modern farmhouse, Tudor, and stately stone-faced facades.
Drees offered nine floorplans, including both ranch and two-story styles, from which to personalize.
Homes range from 2,400-5,000 square feet, with 3–5 bedrooms and 2.5–5 bathrooms.

Cleared, generously sized homesites are approximately 100′ wide and range from 0.35 to 0.53 acres, some abutting HOA-owned greenspace offering pond or meadow views.
Previously farmland, the property is flat and offers wide open vistas.
As for trees, the north and south ends of the community are bordered by a narrow tree line. Homes along the southwest end of McIntosh Pl abut forested greenspace owned by the neighboring HOA.
🚂Train tracks run beyond the west end of the development.

It is ideally located for commuting, with I-90 only 6 min away.
The community is located close to Avon’s top-ranked schools (5 min drive to Middle & High Schools; 7 min to Early Learning Center; 8 min to Heritage Elementary; 11 min to East Elementary, making for easy morning drop-offs.

You’re 4 minutes from the 16-acre Eagle Point Park with a Cross Country course and 4-acre pond, and Veterans Memorial Park with 98 acres for outdoor recreation including walking trails, ponds, ball fields/courts, a playground, a dog park, restrooms, and two pavilions with picnic tables and grills. There’s also the nearby Miller Nature Preserve, offering nature lovers hiking trails, a seasonal butterfly house, and a 5,000-square-foot conservatory featuring orchids and various plant specimens from around the world. There’s also a visitor center with a gift shop, café, event hall, and an outdoor patio that hosts weekly music events during summertime. Come winter, the community center hosts art, cooking and card-making classes. If you desire a day at the lake, Huntington Beach is just 20 minutes away!
