About Stone Ridge in Hinckley
Stone Ridge (aka The Estates at Stone Ridge) is a community of 38 homes in Hinckley, Ohio with private heavily wooded 2-acre homesites. This subdivision is located off the east side of Stony Hill Rd, nearly equidistant between Bellus Rd and Weymouth Rd, and comprises the streets of Autumn Brook Trl, Pine Ridge Trl, and Stone Ridge Dr.

Homes were constructed by builders including Carrington Homes, Edward Homes, Kennah Homes, KNL Custom Homes, Sandvick Builders, and Wilson Pay Builders between 2001-2010, with the final home constructed in 2021.
Homes include ranch, 1.5-story and 2-story styles that range from 3,800-9,000+ square feet with 3-6 bedrooms and 3.5-5.5+ bathrooms.
Being that there were numerous builders in this development, homes vary in features. Common amenities include open floorplans, ceramic tile and hardwood flooring, custom ceilings, laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, two-story foyers with open staircases, formal dining rooms, private dens, and two-story or vaulted great rooms with fireplaces and large windows that open to large kitchens with quartz or granite countertops, a tiled backsplash, breakfast bar, walk-in pantry, butler’s pantry, dinette area and/or sunroom. First or second-floor owner’s suites include sitting areas, walk-in closets, and spa-like baths with custom tiled walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed commodes. Finished lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!) are complete with media rooms, kitchens/kitchenettes, bars, wine cellars, and exercise rooms. Side-entry garages accommodate 3-5 cars, many of them heated. Numerous homes also have detached garages.
Homes have septic systems and city or well water (there is city water available at the street, but some homes continue to use well water).
Most homesites are sized from 2 to 2.7 acres. There are also three lots with 5+ acres.
Many homesites are partially to heavily wooded, which may include timbered front yards, backyards and/or side yards, completely enveloping homes with verdant views and maximum privacy.
Outdoor living is enhanced with custom patios and/or composite decks, covered porches, and fire pits or fireplaces.
Several small tributary streams of the Rocky River East Branch intersect this development, where there may be riparian setbacks. The topography of properties is most affected along the northeast end of Stone Ridge Dr, where the intersecting stream has created rolling topography.
The entrance to Stone Ridge Dr is decorated by landscape beds with stacked stone columns and white three-rail ranch-style fencing. Fencing and a backdrop of mature trees extend along the front of the community, offering privacy from the main road.
As with most Hinckley developments, there are no curbs or sidewalks.
Autumn Brook Trl and Stone Ridge Dr have permanent cul-de-sacs.
Pine Ridge Trl has a temporary cul-de-sac, which could be extended with future development opportunities.
This neighborhood is served by the highly-rated Highland Local School District along with bussing to St. Albert the Great School and the prestigious Old Trail School.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Stone Ridge are approximately $250 annually.
Bordering this development to the north is The Meadows subdivision.
Other nearby subdivisions include Canterbury Farms, Countryside Reserve, and Tamarind Meadows.
