The Estates at Ridgemont is a community of 29 luxury homes nestled amongst scenic rolling countryside in northwest Hinckley, Ohio. This development is located off the east side of Ridge Rd, a half-mile south of Mattingly Rd, and encompasses the streets of Ridgemont Trl, Pine Grove Cir, and three homes on Ridge Rd (house numbers 881, 897 & 921).

Homes were constructed between 1999-2021 by custom builders including Europa Homes, Stonecrest Homes (Prebis-built), and Wilson Pay.

Homes include colonial, cape cod and ranch styles, most of which have full-brick facades and even full-brick surround. They mainly range from 3,200-7,900 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 4-5.5 bathrooms. There is one mansion with over 14,000+ square feet, 6 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms.

The Metroparks owns several parcels of land totaling 77 acres to the east (designated in green on above map).

The entrance street of Ridgemont Trl has a long divided median with landscaping and stone signage.

As with many Hinckley communities, there are no curbs or sidewalks.

Both streets in this development have cul-de-sacs.

With no connection to another subdivision, traffic is limited to residents and their guests.

Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at The Estates At Ridgemont are approximately $150 annually.

This neighborhood is served by the highly-rated Highland Local School District along with bussing to St. Albert the Great School and the prestigious Old Trail School.

Hinckley Reservation is also home to the annual festival known as Buzzard’s Day, which celebrates the return of the turkey vulture to the area around mid-March. The Metroparks’ Mill Stream Run Reservation is 11 min away with trails, rope courses and zip lines, as well as The Chalet, which has two toboggan chutes that are open in the winter. Cuyahoga Valley National Park is 18 min away with 33,000-acres including the Cuyahoga River and numerous waterfalls, the 87-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.
