About Timber Ridge in Hinckley
Timber Ridge (or Timber Ridge Estates) is a single-street community of roughly 45 luxury homes custom-built from 1992-2015 by builders including Marek Builders. The last lot was purchased in 2020.
Homes include ranch, cape cod and colonial styles that range from 2,600-6,500+ square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 3-4.5+ bathrooms.
Homes are loaded with desirable amenities including open floorplans, hardwood flooring, custom ceilings, dramatic two-story foyers with open staircases, large laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, formal dining rooms, private dens with built-ins, and two-story/vaulted great rooms with fireplaces and floor-to-ceiling windows that open to large kitchens feature an expansive quartz or granite countertops, tile backsplash, breakfast bar, walk-in pantry, dinette area, and morning room or hearth room. The entrance to McKee Trl is off the east side of River Rd, 0.9 miles north of Center Rd. In the middle of the street is a divided median with landscaping and stacked stone signage.
The subdivision encompasses homes on McKee Trl and 4 homes on River Rd (house numbers 881, 915, 931 & 955). As with most Hinckley communities, there are no curbs or sidewalks.
There are no HOA fees at Timber Ridge Estates.
This neighborhood is serviced by the highly-rated Highland Local School District along with bussing to St. Albert the Great School and the prestigious Old Trail School.
It is bordered to the west by River Road Horse Farm and the subdivision of Westwind Farms.

Timber Ridge (or Timber Ridge Estates) subdivision is located in north-central Hinckley Ohio, off the eastern side of River Road, 0.9 miles north of Center Rd (303).
Highways are accessible in 8 min to I-271, 10 min to I-71, 12 min to I-77, and 15 min to I-80/Turnpike.
The Metroparks’ Hinckley Reservation is only a 3 min drive with 2,803 acres including twenty miles of all-purpose trails, bridle trails, a 90-acre lake (Hinckley Lake) with a boathouse for water sport rentals, a beach, swimming pool, two smaller fishing ponds also used for ice fishing and skating come winter, stone carvings at Worden’s Ledges, and its most notable feature–the porous sandstone outcroppings of Whipp’s Ledges. Hinckley Reservation is also home to the annual festival known as Buzzard’s Day, which celebrates the return of the turkey vulture to the area around mid-March. The Metroparks’ Mill Stream Run Reservation is 13 min away with trails, rope courses and zip lines, as well as The Chalet, which has two toboggan chutes that are open in the winter. Cuyahoga Valley National Park is 15 min away with 33,000-acres including the Cuyahoga River and numerous waterfalls, the 87-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.
If you’re a golfer, this is a prime location with only 6 min to Hinckley Hills, 6 min to Ironwood, 7 min to Valleaire, 10 min to Pine Hills and Briarwood, and 12 min to Seneca Golf Courses. If you’re looking for social membership and golf, St. Bernard Golf Club is 4 min, Weymouth Country Club is 14 min, and Pleasant Valley Country Club is 15 min away.
