The Trails at Redwood Falls Homes
About The Trails at Redwood Falls in Hinckley
The Trails at Redwood Falls (aka Redwood Falls) is an upscale new construction conservation community of 97 homes surrounded by 100+ acres of conservation area, seven ponds, a peaceful waterfall, walking trails, and a fully functioning clubhouse.
This subdivision was built on the 200-acre site of the former Skyland Golf Course, located at the northeast corner of Center Rd and Stoney Hill Rd in Hinckley Ohio.
Homes are being constructed by Edgewood Homes, Pulte Homes, Windridge Homes, and Legacy-Carrington Homes—a collaborative project between Carrington Homes and Legacy Homes of Medina.
Homes were built beginning in 2019. Development of the final phase, Phase 4 (Cascade Ln), began in 2022. As of late 2023, there were lots yet available for sale.
Homes include ranch, cape cod and colonial styles that mainly range from 2,400-5,600+ square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-4.5 bathrooms.
Being that there were numerous builders in this development, homes vary in features. Common amenities include open floorplans, laundry rooms with utility tubs, dramatic two-story foyers with open staircases, hardwood flooring, custom ceilings, formal dining rooms, formal living rooms and/or private dens, two-story/vaulted great rooms with fireplaces and floor-to-ceiling windows that open to kitchens featuring granite/quartz countertops, tile backsplash, breakfast bar, walk-in pantry, dinette area, and sunroom or hearth room. First-floor owner’s suites include walk-in closets, and spa-like baths with custom tiled walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed commodes. Finished lower levels (a few are coveted walkouts!) are complete with media rooms, kitchens/kitchenettes, bars, and exercise rooms. Side-entry garages accommodate 3-4 cars.
All homes have city water and sewer.
Backyards are appointed with custom patios and/or decks, covered porches, and firepits or fireplaces.
Homesites range from 0.44 to 1.22 acres. Most lots are cleared but there are many trees within the conservation area.
There are two entrances: the main entrance of Skyland Falls Blvd off Center Rd, and Hayden Dr off Stony Hill Rd. Both entrances are flanked by gorgeous landscape beds with boulders. The entrance on Skyland Falls Blvd has a pergola-topped stacked stone ledge with signage surrounded by exquisite landscaping. A treed earth berm runs along Center Rd, providing privacy from the main road.
In addition to Hayden Dr and Skyland Falls Blvd, the subdivision also encompasses the cul-de-sac streets of Cascade Ln and Lanterman Cir.
As with most Hinckley developments, there are no curbs or sidewalks.
This neighborhood is served by the highly-rated Highland Local School District, along with bussing to St. Albert the Great School and the prestigious Old Trail School. Hinckley Elementary is right around the corner (3 min drive).
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees for The Trails at Redwood Falls are approximately $500 annually.
Bordering the community to the east is The Ledges of Stone Creek.
Other nearby subdivisions include Crystalbrooke and Kensington Place.
