The Ledges of Stone Creek is a community of 16 luxury homes in the heart of Hinckley Township nestled on a single cul-de-sac street. This subdivision was built by Legacy-Carrington builders, a collaborative project between Carrington Homes and Legacy Homes of Medina. Homes were built beginning in 2018, with the final few lots still available as of 2021.

Facades are styled as contemporary cottage or modern farmhouse with a mixture of stone and Hardy board.

Homes are available as ranch, cape cod or colonial. They mainly range from 2,700 to 6,700+ square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 3-4.5 bathrooms.

Inside, homes are elegantly appointed with desirable amenities including open floorplans, custom beamed ceilings, hardwood and tile flooring, great rooms with fireplaces and floor-to-ceiling windows, formal dining rooms, private dens, and first-floor laundry rooms with bench/coat cubby, coat closet, Amish-built custom cabinets, quartz countertops and a utility tub. Large kitchens feature an abundance of quartz countertops, tile backsplash, breakfast bar seating, top-of-the-line appliances, walk-in pantry, dinette area, and hearth room or sunroom. First-floor owner’s suites include tray ceilings, a sitting area, fireplace, walk-in closets, and spa-like baths with custom tiled walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks or vanities, and an enclosed lavatory. Finished lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!) are complete with media/theater rooms, kitchens/kitchenettes, bars, and exercise rooms. Homes offer 3 to 5 car garages.

Homesites range from 2 to 4.5 acres. Most lots have a wooded backyard or back to an adjoining wooded property. The larger cul-de-sac lots are the most heavily wooded and offer the most privacy. Outdoor living is enhanced with composite decks and/or custom patios, covered porches, and fire pits or fireplaces.

Ledges of Stone Creek is bordered to the north and west by The Trails at Redwood Falls. Common land owned by Redwood Falls HOA surrounds the perimeter of the community so that no homes back directly against each other.

This single-street development only has one entrance via Ledgewood Dr off Center Rd. The entrance is flanked on either side by landscaped beds surrounded by stacked boulders. There are no curbs or sidewalks.

Homes have city water and septic systems.

Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at The Ledges of Stone Creek are approximately $350 annually.

This neighborhood is serviced by the highly-rated Highland Local School District along with bussing to St. Albert the Great School and the prestigious Old Trail School.

Nearby subdivisions include Crystalbrooke and Kensington Place.

Convenient Location

The Ledges of Stone Creek in Hinckley Ohio is located on the north side of Center Road (S.R. 303), between Stony Hill and Ridge roads.

Access to highways is 6 min to I-271 and I-71, and 13 min to I-77, and 14 min to I-80/Turnpike.

The Metroparks’ Hinckley Reservation is only a 5 min drive with 2,803 acres including twenty miles of all-purpose trails, bridle trails, a 90-acre lake (Hinckley Lake) with a boathouse for water sport rentals, a beach, swimming pool, two smaller fishing ponds also used for ice fishing and skating come winter, stone carvings at Worden’s Ledges, and its most notable feature–the porous sandstone outcroppings of Whipp’s Ledges. Hinckley Reservation is also home to the annual festival known as Buzzard’s Day, which celebrates the return of the turkey vulture to the area around mid-March. The Metroparks’ Mill Stream Run Reservation is 13 min away with trails, rope courses and zip lines, as well as The Chalet, which has two toboggan chutes that are open in the winter. Cuyahoga Valley National Park is 17 min away with 33,000-acres including the Cuyahoga River and numerous waterfalls, the 87-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.

If you’re a golfer, you are only 7 min to Valleaire, Pine Hills and St. Bernard Golf Club; 9 min to Hinckley Hills and Ironwood; 13 min to Briarwood; 14 min to Bunker Hills; and 15 min to Seneca Golf Courses.
