Crystalbrooke in Hinckley Ohio is a prestigious community of 45 luxury homes custom-built by builders including Don Pre and Europa Homes between 2002-2015.

Homes include ranch, cape cod and colonial styles. They mainly range in size from 4,500-11,800 square feet with 3-6 bedrooms and 3.5-8.5 bathrooms.

These homes are loaded with premium finishes and details including open floorplans, hardwood flooring, custom architectural millwork, solid-core doors, heated floors, zoned temperature control, custom ceilings, dramatic two-story foyers with open staircases, two-story/vaulted great rooms with fireplaces and floor-to-ceiling windows, formal dining rooms with butler’s pantry, private dens with built-ins, mudrooms with benches and storage, and large laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets. Large kitchens feature an abundance of quartz or granite countertops, tile backsplash, breakfast bar seating, walk-in pantry, top-of-the-line appliances, dinette area, and hearth room or sunroom. First or second-floor owner’s suites include sitting areas, large walk-in closets with built-ins, and spa-like baths with custom tiled walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. The entrance on Crystalbrooke Dr (also spelled Crystal Brooke Dr) is off Mattingly Rd. It is flanked on either side by a long line of mature trees, providing privacy to the front of the development. There is signage on the left side of the entrance amongst a landscaped bed bordered with stacked boulders.

In addition to Crystalbrooke Dr (also spelled Crystal Brooke Dr), the development also encompasses the streets of Whisper Bluff Trl and Hawksledge Ct (also spelled Hawks Ledge Ct). There are no curbs or sidewalks.

This subdivision uses municipal sewer and water.

This neighborhood is serviced by the highly-rated Highland Local School District along with bussing to St. Albert the Great School and the prestigious Old Trail School.

Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Crystalbrooke are approximately$250 annually.

The Metroparks’ Hinckley Reservation is only a 7 min drive with 2,803 acres including twenty miles of all-purpose trails, bridle trails, a 90-acre lake (Hinckley Lake) with a boathouse for water sport rentals, a beach, swimming pool, two smaller fishing ponds also used for ice fishing and skating come winter, stone carvings at Worden’s Ledges, and its most notable feature–the porous sandstone outcroppings of Whipp’s Ledges. Hinckley Reservation is also home to the annual festival known as Buzzard’s Day, which celebrates the return of the turkey vulture to the area around mid-March. The Metroparks’ Mill Stream Run Reservation is 12 min away with trails, rope courses and zip lines, as well as The Chalet, which has two toboggan chutes that are open in the winter. Cuyahoga Valley National Park is 19 min away with 33,000-acres including the Cuyahoga River and numerous waterfalls, the 87-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.

If you’re a golfer, this is a prime location with only 6 min to Pine Hills, 5 min to Valleaire, 8 min to Hinckley Hills and Ironwood, 10 min to Briarwood, and 14 min to Bunker Hill.
