The entrance on Crystalbrooke Dr (also spelled Crystal Brooke Dr) is off the south side of Mattingly Rd between Ridge and Stony Hill roads. It is flanked on either side by a long line of mature trees, providing privacy to the front of the development. There is signage on the left side of the entrance amongst a landscaped bed bordered with stacked boulders.

In addition to Crystalbrooke Dr (aka Crystal Brooke Dr), the development also encompasses the streets of Whisper Bluff Trl and Hawksledge Ct (also spelled Hawks Ledge Ct). All three streets have cul-de-sacs. As with many Hinckley communities, there are no curbs or sidewalks.

This subdivision has municipal sewer and water.

This neighborhood is served by the highly-rated Highland Local School District along with bussing to St. Albert the Great School and the prestigious Old Trail School.

Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Crystalbrooke are approximately $250 annually.

The subdivision of Crystalbrooke is located in northwest Hinckley Ohio, off Mattingly Rd, 0.4 miles west of Ridge Rd.

Highways are accessible in 8 min to I-71 and I-271, 15 min to I-77, and 18 min to I-80/Turnpike.

The Metroparks’ Hinckley Reservation is only a 7 min drive with 2,803 acres including twenty miles of all-purpose trails, bridle trails, a 90-acre lake (Hinckley Lake) with a boathouse for water sport rentals, a beach, swimming pool, two smaller fishing ponds also used for ice fishing and skating come winter, stone carvings at Worden’s Ledges, and its most notable feature–the porous sandstone outcroppings of Whipp’s Ledges. Hinckley Reservation is also home to the annual festival known as Buzzard’s Day, which celebrates the return of the turkey vulture to the area around mid-March. The Metroparks’ Mill Stream Run Reservation is 12 min away with trails, rope courses and zip lines, as well as The Chalet, which has two toboggan chutes that are open in the winter. Cuyahoga Valley National Park is 19 min away with 33,000-acres including the Cuyahoga River and numerous waterfalls, the 87-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.

If you’re a golfer, this is a prime location with only 6 min to Pine Hills, 5 min to Valleaire, 8 min to Hinckley Hills and Ironwood, 10 min to Briarwood, and 14 min to Bunker Hill.
