Wakefield Run is a community of roughly 80 production-built homes in northeast Hinckley Ohio, located off the south side of Boston Rd, just west of Broadview Rd.

Homes are appointed with desirable amenities including open floorplans, hardwood and ceramic tile flooring, crown moulding, first-floor laundry rooms with cabinets and utility tubs, dramatic two-story foyers with open staircases, formal dining rooms with tray ceilings, private dens or flex rooms, and two-story great rooms with fireplaces and floor-to-ceiling windows that open to large kitchens featuring an abundance of granite or quartz countertops, tile backsplash, breakfast bar seating, walk-in pantry, and dinette area. First or second-floor owner’s suites include a sitting area, walk-in closets, and spa-like baths with custom tiled walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks or vanities, and an enclosed lavatory. Finished lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!) are complete with media/theater rooms, kitchens/kitchenettes, bars, and exercise rooms. Attached garages, most of which are front-entry, accommodate 2-3 cars.

Homes have city water and city sewer.

Outdoor living spaces include covered porches, custom decks and/or patios, and fire pits. Privacy is achieved by fencing or planted pine trees.

Homesites range from 0.23 to 0.36 acres and are surrounded by an HOA-owned conservation easement or open space (yellow areas on map above).

The entrance to Vista Ridge Cir has a landscaped divided median with signage. It is flanked on either side by white crossbuck fencing and a row of trees that extends across the main road, offering privacy to the front of the community.

In addition to Vista Ridge Cir, the community also encompasses two cul-de-sacs streets, Heartland Cir and Meadow Crest Cir, each of which has curbs but no sidewalks.

This development is within the highly-rated Highland Local School District along with bussing to St. Albert the Great School and the prestigious Old Trail School.

Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Wakefield Run are approximately $204 annually.

It is connected to its sister subdivision, The Preserve at Wakefield Run, which has entrances off Boston Rd and State Rd.

Location Details

Wakefield Run is located in northeast Hinckley Ohio (Medina County), along the border of Cuyahoga and Summit counties, off the south side of Boston Rd, 590′ west of Broadview Rd (Rt 176).

Access to highways is convenient with just 8 minutes to I-77, and 12 minutes to both I-80/Turnpike and I-271.

As for parks, The Metroparks’ Hinckley Reservation is only a 10 min drive with 2,803 acres including twenty miles of all-purpose trails, bridle trails, a 90-acre lake (Hinckley Lake) with a boathouse for water sport rentals, a beach, swimming pool, two smaller fishing ponds also used for ice fishing and skating come winter, stone carvings at Worden’s Ledges, and its most notable feature–the porous sandstone outcroppings of Whipp’s Ledges. Hinckley Reservation is also home to the annual festival known as Buzzard’s Day, which celebrates the return of the turkey vulture to the area around mid-March.  Cuyahoga Valley National Park is 13 min away with 33,000-acres including the Cuyahoga River and numerous waterfalls, the 87-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.

Michael Angelo’s Winery is just .2 miles east for great food, wine, and a gorgeous outdoor setting.

If you’re a golfer, you are only 6 min to Hinckley Hills and Briarwood, 7 min to Ironwood and Seneca, 9 min to Valleaire, 11 min to Sleepy Hollow, and 13 min to Pine Hills Golf Club.
