About Sharon Woods
Sharon Woods is a single-street community of 25 custom-built luxury homes in Sharon Township of Wadsworth, Ohio (Medina County).
This development is located 0.2 miles south of Ridgewood Rd, off the west side of Medina Line Rd, comprising two homes on Ridgewood Rd (house numbers 66 & 84), 8 homes on Medina Line Rd (even house numbers 660-840), and the east end of Sharon Woods Rd (house numbers 64-323).
The west end of Sharon Woods Rd is occupied by Forest Glen homes, however these two subdivisions are not connected.
Sharon Woods homes were constructed between 1981-2001 (the average year homes were built is 1992) by custom builders including Art Graf and Frank Michaels.
Being that homes were custom-built over 20 years, exterior architecture and interior amenities will differ. Facades primarily feature traditional styling with full brick/stone, partial brick/stone, or full vinyl.
Homes include ranch and two-story designs that range from 2,300-4,600 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-4.5 bathrooms.
Inside, homes are appointed with hardwood or LVP flooring, dramatic two-story foyers with turned staircases, formal dining rooms, private dens and/or flex rooms, and laundry rooms with built-in sinks and cabinets. Two-story or vaulted great rooms with fireplaces are open to kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, tile backsplash, center islands with breakfast bar, a walk-in pantry, and dinette area. Owner’s suites (most are first floor) include walk-in closets, and large bathrooms with tiled walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Some homes also have in-law suites. Finished lower levels (a few are coveted walkouts!) may have media rooms, bars and exercise rooms.
Front or side-entry garages accommodate 2-4 cars. Some homes also have detached garages for additional vehicles.
Homes are served by individual water wells and septic systems.
Backyards may feature decks and/or custom patios, covered living areas, and fire pits. Playsets, gardens, sheds, and above-ground or in-ground pools are permitted.
Homesites are sized at 2.5 acres and measure approximately 200′ wide x ≥54′ deep. There is also one lot with 14.6 acres.
Lots feature varied landcover from lightly treed parcels to densely wooded properties offering privacy and lush natural beauty.
⚡NOTE: A row of high-voltage steel lattice tower transmission lines and a row of high-voltage wooden distribution lines run north-south across the west end of the subdivision, for those concerned about health and safety, visual encumbrance or adjacent property values.
The entrance to Sharon Woods Rd is flanked by a landscape bed with evergreens and etched masonry signage.
Sharon Woods Rd ends in a cul-de-sac.
As with most Wadsworth subdivisions and country living, there are no curbs or sidewalks.
Post is conveniently delivered to individual mailboxes at the end of each driveway.
There are Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees.
Residences are served by the highly-rated Highland Local School District along with bussing to St. Albert the Great School and the prestigious Old Trail School.
Comparable nearby communities include Grandview Farms, which is 0.6 miles south.

Sharon Falls is located in Sharon Township of Wadsworth (Medina County) Ohio, 0.2 miles south of Ridgewood Rd, off the west side of Medina Line Rd.

You’re 13 min to Carolyn Ludwig Mugrage Park with green space, two miles of trails, a large playground, fishing pond, and a spacious fenced dog run. Allardale Park is 10 min away for hiking and equestrian trails, a picnic shelter and indoor lodge. Bath Nature Preserve is a 13 min drive with hiking and equestrian trails, two ponds for catch-and-release fishing, sled riding, and cross country skiing. It’s 18 min to Lake Medina for hiking, fishing, canoeing, and cross-country skiing. The Cleveland Metroparks’ Hinckley Reservation is 18 min away with 2,803 acres including twenty miles of all-purpose trails, bridle trails, a 90-acre lake (Hinckley Lake) with a boathouse for water sport rentals, a beach, swimming pool, two smaller fishing ponds also used for ice fishing and skating come winter, stone carvings at Worden’s Ledges, and its most notable feature–the porous sandstone outcroppings of Whipp’s Ledges. Hinckley Reservation is also home to the annual festival known as Buzzard’s Day, which celebrates the return of the turkey vulture to the area around mid-March. The 33,000-acre Cuyahoga Valley National Park, which includes the Cuyahoga River and numerous waterfalls, the 87-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad is 17 min away. Richfield Heritage Preserve is 20 min away, offering 336 wooded acres with hiking trails that include a portion of the Buckeye Trail, winding streams, two lakes for fishing and non-motorized watersports, and a horse barn with five miles of bridle trails.
Golfers will appreciate being 20 minutes or less to Hinckley Hills, Pleasant Valley, Ironwood, Briarwood, Bunker Hill, Seneca, and Sleepy Hollow. If you’re looking for social membership and golf, you’re 8 min to The Sharon Golf Club and 14 min to Weymouth Country Club.
