About Highlands of Sharon
The Highlands of Sharon is a new construction community of 50 homesites in Wadsworth, Ohio (Sharon Township) featuring custom and semi-custom homes.
This subdivision is located 0.6 miles north of Reimer Rd, off the west side of Ridge Rd. It comprises the residential streets of Lois Ln and Tullamore Trl.
🚧PHASE 3: A proposed Phase 3 of development would add an unconnected section of 21 homes to the west/southwest along an extension of Ledgestone Dr, accessible through the Weatherstone at Wadsworth subdivision.


Highlands of Sharon was constructed beginning in 2023 by Modern Home Concepts (MHC), which is offering ranch and two-story floorplans from which to personalize, as well as true custom builds beginning at 2,200 square feet. Several plans have first-floor owner’s suites. Some standard features MHC includes with the base price are quartz countertops, energy-efficient windows, solid-core doors, and soft-close cabinetry. This builder also offers high-end features like vaulted and beamed ceilings, built-in laundry tubs and folding stations, and custom closet systems.
In 2025, Pulte Homes began building homes in the community. Pulte is offering one ranch and four two-story floorplans ranging from 2,300-3,300 above-grade square feet. Note: Only the ranch plan has a first-floor owner’s suite. Unique to Pulte are planning centers (pocket offices), which are included on all floorplans.
First floor amenities and principal rooms include LVP flooring, laundry rooms, mud halls with coat closets and cubbies, front entry foyers, dining rooms (some floorplans), private dens or flex rooms, pocket offices (Pulte homes only), and fireplaced great rooms that open to kitchens featuring quartz countertops, a center island with breakfast bar, walk-in pantry, and dining area.
Owner’s suites feature trayed ceilings, walk-in closets, and bathrooms with a soaking tub and/or custom tiled walk-in shower, dual sinks/vanities, and an enclosed commode.
Second floors may have lofts or bonus rooms.
Optional finished lower levels may feature rec rooms, bars, theaters, and exercise rooms.
Front or side-entry garages accommodate 3 cars. Note: The third space may be tandem in Pulte homes.
Homes are serviced by public water and sewer.
Backyards feature custom patios, covered living areas, and fire pits.
The site was previously used as cropland, offering level lots with open vistas. Strategically placed plantings can provide natural privacy from neighboring lots.
Phase 1 homesites (the first eleven homes on Tullamore Trl) are 85′ wide with 30′ setbacks, ranging from 0.33 to 0.76 acres.
Phase 2 (the remainder of Tullamore Trl and eight lots along Lois Ln) also includes the same-sized lots, as well as larger lots measuring 125′ wide with 70′ setbacks, sized from 0.93 to 1.49 acres.
Detention basins spanning several properties will collect rainwater and prevent flooding during heavy storms.

The entrance to Tullamore Trl is ornamented by a landscaped bed with a stacked stone signage wall.
As with most neighborhood streets in Sharon Township, there are no curbs or sidewalks.
Tullamore Trl has a permanent cul-de-sac. Lois Ln has a temporary cul-de-sac, which may be extended with future development opportunities.
Post is delivered to mailbox kiosks.
📶CELL TOWER: There is an LTE cell tower directly behind lots 6 & 7 (southwest side of Tullamore Trl). The tower rises 237′ above ground level, for those concerned about health implications, visual encumbrance or property values.
This neighborhood is served by the highly-rated Highland Local School District.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Highlands of Sharon are approximately $750 annually.
