About The Estates at Woodfield
The Estates at Woodfield is an upscale community of 38 custom-built luxury homes on 2+-acre homesites in Sharon Township of Wadsworth, Ohio (Medina County).
This development is located a half-mile east of State Rd off the south side of Ridgewood Rd and encompasses the streets of Easton Place Cir and McClelland Ct, and the west end and cul-de-sac of Brentwood Way (house numbers 540-613).
The Estates at Woodfield homes were built from 2010-2016 and primarily constructed by Bridgeport Custom Homes.
Complementary facades of contemporary cottage and modern farmhouse styles create an attractively cohesive streetscape.
These homes range from 3,400-6,600 square feet with 4-5 bedrooms and 3-5 bathrooms.
Inside, homes are appointed with hardwood or LVP flooring, extensive trimwork, dramatic two-story foyers with turned staircases, formal dining rooms, private dens, mudrooms/mud halls, and laundry rooms with built-in sinks and cabinets. Two-story or vaulted great rooms with fireplaces are open to kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, tile backsplash, center islands with breakfast bar, a walk-in pantry, dinette area, and even hearth rooms. First floor owner’s suites can include sitting areas, large walk-in closets, and spa-like bathrooms with tiled walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Finished lower levels (a few are coveted walkouts!) may have media rooms, bars, billiard areas, exercise rooms and/or stairs to the garage.
Side-entry garages accommodate 3 cars. Some homes also have detached garages for additional vehicles.
Homes have well water and septic tanks.
Backyards may feature professional landscaping, decks, patios, covered living areas and/or fire pits.
Playsets, trampolines and in-ground pools are permitted.
Homesites are primarily sized around 2 acres, but there are some larger lots up to 3.2 acres.
Much of the site was previously used for agriculture. Most lots are fully cleared, offering wide-open vistas. Additional privacy is achieved with plantings.
Lots along the southern end of the development boast heavily forested backyards for the ultimate in privacy and verdant beauty.
The perimeter of the Estates at Woodfield is surrounded by a wooded backdrop, offering privacy from surrounding residences.
A tributary stream of Wolf Creek meanders across several properties around the Brentwood Way cul-de-sac offering rolling topography.
The entrance to McClelland Ct is flanked by ponds and landscaped beds with curved stacked stone signage walls.
Brentwood Way and Easton Place Cir end in permanent cul-de-sacs. McClelland Ct has an eyebrow cul-de-sac.
True to country living, as with most Wadsworth subdivisions, there are no curbs or sidewalks.
Post is conveniently delivered to mailboxes at the end of each driveway.
Residences are served by the highly-rated Highland Local School District along with bussing to St. Albert the Great School and the prestigious Old Trail School.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Estates at Woodfield are approximately $600 annually.
To the east, Brentwood Way becomes Forest Glen.
The northeast end of the community abuts Kingsmill Crossing.
The Estates at Woodfield is located directly across the street from The Ridge and diagonally from Preserve of Sharon Falls.
