About Wills Subdivision in Bath
Wills Subdivision Phase I encompasses eleven homes adjacent to Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Bath Township of Akron, Ohio. Phase I of Wills Subdivision comprises the two unconnected cul-de-sac streets of Raintree Rd and Candlewood Ln, located off the north side of Ira Rd, approximately 0.3 miles east of N Revere Rd.
NOTE: Wills Subdivision Phase II in Richfield is directly north, which is accessible through the Farmstead subdivision off N Revere Rd.

Homes in Wills Subdivision Phase I were custom-built from 1985-1992. The neighborhood also includes one home built in 1963.
Facade styles include Tudor, traditional, and Georgian colonial, with the majority of homes featuring full brick surround.
With finished basements, these homes range from 4,700-6,700+ square feet with 4-5 bedrooms and 4.5-5.5+ bathrooms.
Homes are appointed with desirable amenities like open floorplans, dramatic two-story foyers with open staircases, hardwood flooring, formal living and dining rooms, private dens with built-ins, sunrooms, and large laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets. Vaulted or two-story great rooms with fireplaces and floor-to-ceiling windows are open to kitchens with granite or quartz countertops, tile backsplash, center islands, breakfast bar seating, walk-in pantry, and dinette area. Owner’s suites include walk-in closets, and bathrooms with tiled walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Full finished lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!) are complete with theater or media rooms, billiard rooms, kitchenettes, bars, exercise rooms, and storage areas. Side-entry garages accommodate 3-4 cars.
Homes have well water and septic systems.
Generously sized homesites range from 2.8 to 7.5 acres. Other than the few homes backing to each other between Raintree Rd and Candlewood Ln, backyards are heavily wooded.
The topography of the neighborhood is mostly flat and open with a forested perimeter.
Lots along the eastern side of Candlewood Ln abut the lush forest of Cuyahoga National Park (green section on above map) with access to Perkins trailhead, extending 2.7 miles, offering the ultimate in privacy and natural beauty.
Several tributary streams of Furnace Run meander along rear property lines, presenting sloping or ravined topography. Stream-adjacent land may have riparian setbacks, restricting the erection of structures along the grounds.
This community also has a large pond where residents can fish, canoe, kayak, and paddleboard.
As with most neighborhood streets in Bath, neither Raintree Rd or Candlewood Ln has curbs or sidewalks.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees are approximately $150 annually.
This neighborhood is serviced by the top-rated Revere Local School District with bussing to St. Hilary’s. The prestigious Old Trail School is 4 min away.
