Farmstead in Richfield Ohio (Bath Township) is a forested community of 36 homes nestled against the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. These homes were custom-built from 1977-1987. Many have since been updated.
Homes include ranch and colonial styles. The square footage of these homes ranges from 2,800-6,300+ with 4-5 bedrooms and 2.5-5.5 bathrooms. They include attached 3-4.5 car garages.
Homes have well water and septic systems.
Farmstead homesites range from 2 to 4 acres and nearly each is heavily wooded and private, surrounded on each side by trees.
The topography of the eastern and southern side of the development is characterized by ravines with meandering creeks, making for gorgeous views of nature and walkout lower levels.
Homes along the eastern edge of the community abut the Cuyahoga Valley National Park forest. Access to the trailheads of Riding Run Trail (4.6 miles long) and Perkins Trail (2.7 miles long) are .3 miles east of the Farmstead Rd entrance. Riding Run Trail is north of Everett Rd; Perkins Trail is on the south side, directly east of the subdivision.
There are two entrances to this development: Farmstead Rd from Everett Rd, and Woodsmill Rd from N Revere Rd. The subdivision also encompasses the streets of Burnbrick Rd and Oxbow Rd.
Four homes along the southern portion of Farmstead Rd and three homes on Arborry Hill Rd are part of Thornapple Hill subdivision. The remaining homes on Arborry Hill Rd are within the Wills subdivision.
This neighborhood is serviced by the top-rated Revere Local Schools (and also walkable!) with bussing to St. Hilary’s. The prestigious Old Trail School is just 5 minutes away.

The Farmstead subdivision is situated in the southeastern corner of Richfield Ohio (Bath Township), along the borders of Bath and Peninsula. The development is accessible off Everett and N Revere roads.
This development is ideally located to highways with only 6 min to I-77, 7 min to I-271, 12 min to I-80/Turnpike, and 15 min to I-71.
Most homes in this development are less than a mile from Revere Schools and walkable!
Summit Mall and shopping center are only 12 min away. Anchored by Dillard’s and Macy’s, it boasts over 125 of your favorite retailers like Apple, J. Outdoor recreation amenities around Farmstead are plentiful! The aforementioned Cuyahoga Valley National Park (just east of the subdivision) is 33,000-acres and includes the Cuyahoga River and numerous waterfalls, the 87-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad. Bath Nature Preserve is 6 min south with hiking and equestrian trails, two ponds for catch-and-release fishing, sled riding, and cross country skiing. Eastwood Preserve is a 10 min drive, offering 28 acres with an educational facility, hiking trails, a fishing lake, and a community garden. The Cleveland Metroparks’ Hinckley Reservation is also only a 10 min drive with 2,803 acres including twenty miles of all-purpose trails, bridle trails, a 90-acre lake (Hinckley Lake) with a boathouse for water sport rentals, a beach, swimming pool, two smaller fishing ponds also used for ice fishing and skating come winter, stone carvings at Worden’s Ledges, and its most notable feature–the porous sandstone outcroppings of Whipp’s Ledges. Hinckley Reservation is also home to the annual festival known as Buzzard’s Day, which celebrates the return of the turkey vulture to the area around mid-March. Richfield Heritage Preserve is 10 min away, offering 336 wooded acres with hiking trails that include a portion of the Buckeye Trail, winding streams, two lakes for fishing and non-motorized watersports, and a horse barn with five miles of bridle trails.
If you’re a golfer, you are 16 min to Hinckley Hills and Sleepy Hollow, and 17 min to Ironwood, Briarwood and Seneca. If you’re looking for social membership and golf, you’re just 12 min to St. Bernard Golf Club.
Boston Mills and Brandywine Ski Resorts are just a 16 min drive for skiing and tubing during the winter months.
A concert at Blossom Music Center is 14 min away.
