About Olde Orchard in Richfield

Olde Orchard (also called Olde Orchard Estates) in the Village of Richfield Ohio includes 17 homes upon two cul-de-sac streets. One cul-de-sac features custom-built luxury estates up to 12,000+ square feet; the other includes semi-custom homes up to 6,000 square feet.

The cul-de-sacs are connected by a paved walkway but have separate entrances.

Olde Orchard Subdivision Phase 1 on Deer Creek Trail:

Phase 1 of the subdivision includes nine custom-built luxury homes occupying the western end and cul-de-sac of Deer Creek Trl. These stunning estates were constructed by builders including Beres Construction, KNL, and Ruggiero Builders from 2007-2014.

Homes offer 6,000-12,000+ square feet with 4-6 beds 4.5-6.5 baths with premium finishes and architectural details throughout. Interiors include open floorplans, soaring specialty ceilings, numerous fireplaces, extensive millwork, hardwood flooring, dramatic two-story foyers with open staircases, two-story/vaulted great rooms with fireplaces and floor-to-ceiling windows, formal dining rooms with butler’s pantry, private dens with fireplaces and furniture-grade built-ins, in-law/guest suites, and large laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets. These homes were built on an extension of Deer Creek Trl, off the Deer Creek Reserve development. An Olde Orchard Estates sign is on the right side of the street, just before these homes begin.

The entrance to this street is off Townsend Rd. It is also accessible via Deer Path Trl from Brush Rd.

Adjacent to the entrance is Summit Metro Park’s Furnace Run Brushwood Area for hiking, picnicking, cross-country skiing, fishing, ice skating, and sledding.

This neighborhood is serviced by the top-ranked Revere Local School District with bussing to St. Hilary’s and the prestigious Old Trail School.

Olde Orchard Subdivision Phase 2 on Olde Orchard Trail:

Olde Orchard Subdivision Phase 2 added 8 homes on Old Orchard Trl. These semi-custom homes were built exclusively by Petros Homes between 2011-2014.

Homes include ranch, cape cod and colonial styles ranging from 2,700-6,000 square feet with 4-6 bedrooms and 2.5-4.5 bathrooms. Homesites on Olde Orchard Trl offer around 2 acres. Other than a narrow tree line that runs along the perimeter of this community, these homesites are mostly cleared. Additional privacy is achieved with fences or planted pines.

Outdoor living is enhanced with custom patios and/or decks, covered porches or verandas, and fire pits.

The entrance to Olde Orchard Trl is off Alger Rd. There is a landscaped bed with mature pines and signage on the right side.

The Olde Orchard subdivision(also called Olde Orchard Estates) is located in the northwest section of the Village of Richfield Ohio, north of Brush Rd, between Alger and Townsend roads.

It is ideally located to highways with only 7 min to I-77 and I-80/OH Turnpike, 10 min to I-271, and 17 min to I-71.

Luther Farm Market is just north on Alger Rd for farm-fresh local produce, all natural freezer meats, and Amish snacks and canned food. During their Fall Fest, every Saturday & Sunday in October, the farm offers family-friendly activities including hayrides, corn and hay mazes, games, a petting farm, delicious food, and their most famous attraction — the Pumpkin Cannon!

Richfield Heritage Preserve is less than 5 min away, offering 336 wooded acres with hiking trails that include a portion of the Buckeye Trail, winding streams, two lakes for fishing and non-motorized watersports, and a horse barn with five miles of bridle trails. You are 5 minutes from Summit Metro Park’s Furnace Run. The Cleveland Metroparks’ Hinckley Reservation is only a 10 min drive with 2,803 acres including twenty miles of all-purpose trails, bridle trails, a 90-acre lake (Hinckley Lake) with a boathouse for water sport rentals, a beach, swimming pool, two smaller fishing ponds also used for ice fishing and skating come winter, stone carvings at Worden’s Ledges, and its most notable feature–the porous sandstone outcroppings of Whipp’s Ledges. Hinckley Reservation is also home to the annual festival known as Buzzard’s Day, which celebrates the return of the turkey vulture to the area around mid-March. Cuyahoga Valley National Park is roughly 10 min away with 33,000-acres including the Cuyahoga River and numerous waterfalls, the 87-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.

If you’re a golfer, you are less than 15 min to Briarwood, Seneca, Hinckley Hills, Sleepy Hollow, Ironwood, and Valleaire Golf Courses. If you’re looking for social membership and golf, you’re 10 min to St. Bernard Golf Club.

Boston Mills and Brandywine Ski Resorts are about 13 minutes away for skiing and tubing during winter months.
