Read on for comprehensive information about the subdivision and its single-family homes, builders, lots, amenities, location, nearby conveniences, driving distances, and recent sales.
Firestone Trace is located in northwest Bath Township, Ohio, and is accessible off the north side of Ira Rd and the west side of N Hametown Rd.
It comprises three separate subdivisions, connected only by trails:
- The largest section (Phases 1 & 2) has two entrances, Firestone Trce and Meadowvale Dr, both off the north side of Ira Rd. It also includes the streets of N Meadow Cir, S Meadow Cir, and Meadowvale Ct. The clubhouse, pool and tennis courts are located at the entrance of Firestone Trce.
- The second section (Phase 3 & 4) is accessible via Bridle Trl from N Hametown Rd, which also encompasses the streets of Chuckery Ln, Rock Creek, and High Ridge Trl.
- The third section is a single-street development (Phase 5) of Rock Creek S, off Ira Rd. The stub street of Alder Dr may be extended with future development opportunities.
These homes were constructed by custom builders including Dwight Yoder Fine Homes, KNL Builders, North Coast Builders, Old World Classics, and Prestige Homes from 2002-2017. As of late 2024, there were a few homes yet to be built.
Homes include colonial, cape cod and ranch styles that range from 4,300-9,200+ square feet with 4-6 bedrooms and 4-6.5 bathrooms.
Homes are exquisitely appointed with the highest quality craftsmanship and premium finishes throughout including open floorplans, dramatic two-story foyers with open staircases, hardwood flooring, multiple fireplaces, huge windows, soaring custom ceilings, extensive millwork, two-story/vaulted great rooms with specialty fireplaces and floor-to-ceiling windows, butler’s pantry, formal dining rooms with tray ceilings, private dens with custom built-ins or paneling, mudrooms, large laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, zoned HVAC, and second-floor lofts. Granite or quartz chef’s kitchens feature furniture-grade custom cabinetry, an oversized island, tile backsplash, breakfast bar seating, walk-in pantry, top-of-the-line appliances, dinette area and/or morning/hearth room. First-floor owner’s retreats include a sitting area/room, fireplace, walk-in closets, and spa-like baths with custom tiled walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Finished lower levels (many are walk-outs!) are complete with media rooms or theater rooms, kitchens/kitchenettes, bars, wine cellars, and exercise rooms. Oversized side-entry garages accommodate 3-5+ cars.
Backyards are an entertainer’s delight with professionally designed and lighted landscaping, custom patios and/or composite decks, covered porches, paved terraces, outdoor kitchens, water features, fireplaces or fire pits, and in-ground pools.
Homesites range from 0.76 to 1.4 acres, some of which have wooded backyards.
Nearly every home abuts wooded parkland or the 90 acres of HOA-owned greenspace (yellow areas on above map), most of it forested for enhanced privacy and lush views.
The North Folk Yellow Creek runs vertically through the development, presenting rolling or ravined topography and opportunities for fishing and wildlife viewing. View flood information.
As with most rural communities, there are no curbs or sidewalks. However, Firestone Trace residents enjoy four miles of trails (dashed red lines on map above) for exercise or walking the dog. Walking trails within the neighborhood connect to Bath Nature Preserve (south side of Ira Rd), the 73-acre North Fork Preserve, and Bath Baseball Park, which also has a trailhead that connects Kniss Nature MetroPark of Richfield.
Whereas most homes in Bath have private wells and septic systems, as Bath Township does not have city water and sewer, this neighborhood offers the convenience of a private community water and septic system. Residents’ drinking water comes from an on-site water well, treated on-site by a water company (Aqua Ohio) and piped to homes. The septic is treated at a neighborhood wastewater treatment plant.
Firestone Trace hosts a number of social events including cocktail parties, progressive dinners, block parties, Easter egg hunts, and Halloween gatherings.
Each entrance is flanked by landscaped beds with stacked flagstone walls and three-rail ranch-style fencing.
All mailboxes in the neighborhood are required to be the same, bringing visual continuity to the streetscape.
This neighborhood is served by the top-ranked Revere Local School District with bussing to St. Hilary’s and the prestigious Old Trail School.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Firestone Trace are approximately $1,200 annually.
To the east of the main development is North Bath Estates.
